Hi Mary,
I'm from Australia, and I've just been searching everywhere on the net of how tea cups are made, and what are the processes involved. It's for an energy technology assignment. This is how I came across your website. I haven't gone through your whole website, as it is rather huge, but don't get me wrong, IT'S GREAT!!! I love the ideas you've come up with, and I'll be checking back regularly to see what's happening on your site. Love the site!
Ok I'm gonna take a well deserved break now, with a cup of Earl Grey tea, and read a bit more on your website.
Catch ya Later.

I had a tea party a few weeks ago which was a roaring

We talked about everything from tea, to politics , to sex
to religion. Bonds were formed among a group of women who
for the most part knew noone there previously but me. Now
some of the other ladies plan to have tea parties too.
Something fun has started

an antique-looking, plated, silver warmer with a tea light

Here's a great link to add to Tea Accessories: The Candle
Cozy (https://www.hedgehog-hill.com/candlecozy/) "The
European tradition of using The Candle Cozy, a tea & coffee
warmer, is now available!!! A common household product
throughout Europe, tea & coffee warmers match your teapot in
color and shape. They are practical and romantic. These can
be used for tea, coffee or hot cocoa. Take it with you to
your desk or into the garden. Very practical. You will never
have a cold pot or cup of tea or coffee again... And you
will wonder how you ever lived without it!"

I just bought one for myself and I've been searching for The

Dear Mary

I have been doing a Web search with Excite, yahoo. Aol and
finally tried Alta Vista finding your wonderful web page
with the Tea party information.

I love your so very complete helpful links and information
about this and i am giving my first Tea party this month at
a Victorian home that about 21 of my family rents and there
are about 12 females four of them being ages 4-8. i went
to Goodwill and bought them darling ruffled dresses that I
washed and ironed. some of my friends who have little
girls in their families now want the dresses and all love
the idea of this tea party.

thankyou so much for all of your hard work and research
putting together this fantastic web page. I am going to
try the sandwiches and already have the lovely tea sets and
cups and dishes I found at of course Goodwill and other low
cost places that are so pretty. I cant wait to do this.

have a wonderful year left and I might chat again .

Really enjoyed your site. I adore the ceremony of
afternoon tea and so do most of my friends. It was so
delightful to find your site and discover just how many
others enjoy this most delightful celebration of friendship
and life. I sip my tea in California.

I was researching tea parties for an article I am doing for
a newspaper and found your fantastic site with all the
information and links. Thanks so much for making my
research such a delightful experience. We have a beautiful
Victorian gift shop, Another Plance N Time, just outside
of Albuquerque, NM where tea parties are held outdoors from
spring to fall and the owner does a wonderful job of making
these gatherings almost an art form. Each party has a theme
and mothers bring their children their own mothers. In
today's hectic pace of things, a tea party is a wonderful
way to stop and unwind, enjoy and savor a part of the past.
Thanks again for your terrific site.
