Comments:I need to know if the 1963 and 1964 bodies are the same. I'm choping my 1963 and was given a 1964, if the bodies are the same then I should be able to use the doors and the top in this fabrication process.

I met you a couple of years ago in Texas. You stopped at a station on I 40 in the Texas Panhandle where I was working. I have your phone and address. Your place is where my father and his parents were born and raised. Great site. I was looking to buy or trade for a VW of some type. Thanks for the site.
I would trade a 1985 Chev P/U for a beetle or Van in the 60's ro 70's. Could drive the truck to someone if I could drive the bug home.

Comments:Some most excellent rides, I too have a "project" VW. The chasis is a '63 and the engine is a '69. The body is a fiberglass conversion, dune buggy style, I think it's the baja but I'm not certain. Anway, cutting throught the bs, I'm interested to know if you've done any fiberglass repair and if so could you give me some pointers; this bug was severly abused and is cosmically-ugly at the moment. Thanks, and peace out man.

Comments:Nice site, pictorially very informative. However, I would like to see a year of manufacture attached to some of the "0ld bugs"

Comments:Very cool Tim. Ole boy Mark told me about your site.

Talk about back in the day! I almost forgot about that Jawa. Damn thing. And the day you decided to do wheelies with that transporter. I think one day is all the drivetrain lasted

Someday I'd love to buy a nice bug or type 4 and do a little autocross with it. Not soon though, the little critter is takin' up all my time and money. Still, I'll bet you could make one that'd go like stink with all those parts of yours.

Peace out old friend.
