| Hi, I am the great-grandaughter of Cyrus and Carrie Goodale. Their son Frank was my grandfather. It was great to see a picture of Carrie's mom Sarah. I can give you a little more information on Sarah. Her maiden name was Carpenter she was born 6 Dec 1842 and was first married to Elijah Collamore in Maine, 4 Feb 1862. Carrie was the daughter of Sarah and Elijah. He died in March 1866. Carrie was born 9 Sept 1866. After he died she married James Goodale but I have very little information on him. | I am researching a Davis family in Okla. James Davis m. Lidia Ann Barnes before 1860 in Maybe Ala. There were two sons. James M Jefferson Davis and William Andrew Dempsey Davis. Dempsey had a son Samuel T. Davis. James Davis died of measles while serving in the Civil War in 1863. Does any of this fit into your family. I saw some information that made me wonder. | Very interested in David Mchenry, searching for parents of George Richard McHenry, born abt. 1824 in Illinois, though he has stated in different census, Ky. and Tn. States father born in Maryland and Mother in PA. There was a David who bought land in Kalamazoo Michigan in 1837, George lived in Kalamazoo and had his children there. Though he died in Lee, Allegan, Mi. My Great Grandfather died in Waukegan, Lake Co., IL. |
