I've been struggling with my ed for about 1 year and a half, and have been struggling with my weight for about 3-4 years now. I'm 16 and I'm 5'0 and weigh 130 lbs., my doctor says I'm overweight. My BMI, ideal weight is around 95-100 lbs., so i'm shooting for that. Yea, most of friends are really small and thin too, and some of my friends are also asian and of course they're all rail thin! I just want to look good! and be well...perfect, i guess. I'm short, so i look like a little pig, all my body parts are out of proportion because of where all my fat is.

I am 33 and have been pro-ana (in my own private world) for 8+ years, ironically, after being rail thin for most of my life. Being from the South (and a neighbor to your Atlanta; Birmingham), I succumbed to the pressure to be a "thicky thick" girl in order to keep up with the demands of dating and competition from other girls (real or perceived). I eventually ended up being 165lbs and hated myself. I had a terrible problem with my jaw in the summer of 1995, which limited what I could eat until I had surgery. Two months later, I lost my nephew and really never regained my desire to consume. I managed to get down to 124lbs at my smallest but have since had a child and have gained weight again. I am currently 142 and would like to go back to being 125. I hope your site will provide me insight on how to do this. I cannot reach out to any of my friends or husband as they don't understand what they deem my irrational obsession with my weight but these are the same people that shower me with praise and love when I am at my thinnest.
