| Comments: | I came to this site while searching for information on Gene Myers, who was a cartoonist but also my high school art teacher. He is one of the features in Cartoonist Profiles #68 Dec 1985.
Is this something you own? Is there any way I can get a copy of whatever it says about Mr. Myers? I am working on a high school reunion and i would love to have something to contribute about him. | Comments: | My son learned to read by enjoying Calvin and Hobbes. One of his Christmas books was always an anthology of strips.He even dreamt of becoming a cartoonist one day. Now he is off to college and he said he would like to have a pet tiger. I suggested that we get a Hobbes doll, only to find that they don't exist. I will have to find an "ersatz" Hobbes to send with him on his scholarly adventures. He truly believes he has a Calvin side to himself. And he could use a sidekick like Hobbes as he goes away from home for the first time.

| Comments: | Every night before I fall asleep, I pray to the Almighty to grant the world peace, my family health, and last but not least, that he touches Bill Watterson's heart so that he starts drawing Calvin And Hobbes again. I miss this kid so much along with his tiger, that I would be, along with the rest of his worldwide fans, the happiest man alive if he made a come-back. For reasons that we don't understand, as much as Watterson may explain, he stopped drawing Calvin and Hobbes, leaving us with a void that can't be filled. Mr. Watterson, please give us Calvin and Hobbes again. They are as much ours, as they are yours! |
