Comments:By the way - my grandfather lived at 15 Bangor Road, Wallasey Merseyside until he died in the mid to late 1970's. His sister, Minnie, owned an as yet unidentified store, somewhere near or at the shipping yards.
I also just want to say that I have "met" some incredibly wonderful people on my journey. A kind woman at the Liverpool Library has really extended herself to me. I am eternally grateful to her for her kindness and well, I guess I wanted you to know that to be the recipient of such kindness from a stranger is not only very overwhelming, but it speaks volumes about the folks who reside in Liverpool.

Comments:I am an American who is searching for her maternal family. My mom was born in Liverpool in 1926 to Jeanne and Ephraim Davis (he was also called Dolph). She was an only child. I've just learned that my grandfather had a brother, Maurice, and I believe a sister, Minnie. Although we were always told she never married, documents indicate the last name of Edge. My mom had one cousin, Henry Hill. Henry had a son and a daughter. His son's name is Adrian. I do not know about the daughter. I've been trying to find out if Henry is deceased. Can you help?

In the interim, you may wish to check out some of my history at liverpool during 1959 to 1965 in the liverpool music business, some years before the Beatles broke nationally and internationally.
check out; www.mersey-beat.net in the a-z section scroll down and click on articles. There, halfway downd the page you will view an article; 'george roberts' 'managing the bands'.
Therein that web site you will find facinating tales of liverpool folk doing some of what we do best, 'entertaining' Keep up your good work and best wishes. george

Comments:An excellent site! I love history especially about the City where I was born and live.
The site is very well put together and has some fantastic info especially if your building a family tree.

Just one gripe... TRANSITIONS! pro web designers never use them, they just annoy the hell out of people!

All in all a great site and very informative.
