flamboyant cricket career in 1985 very confidently. My parents and I knew at that time itself that this man is going to lead Australian cricket to glory. At that time I was in Madras, India studying 10th grade. If Australia did not have leaders like Allan Border and Mark Taylor during his time, he would have had many more years as the captain. He is cool. He is shrewd. He is a man with a missionary zeal. All the cricketeers in the world should learn from him. He is probably the best cricketeer of the century and his name is Steven Waugh. May God shower his choicest blessings on him and on his brother, Mark. Now I live in the US and there is not much craze about cricket like in India or in England. Thanks to the internet that I keep myself updated with cricket scores and closely watch Steven. Go Steven Go! |
