Big thank you to you! =) By the way David Tennant has worked with a finnish director Mika Kaurismäki in L.A without a map, and that movie is one of my favorites, it was great to see David taking on the role from Eccelston who also was a great Doctor. | Comments: | Hi Camille from another Italian Camille in the U.S. (I assume 'Coduri' is Italian?) I am a Senior-Level Archaeologist, unfortunately now disabled, but I have worked at sites all over the world.
I was happy to find your official site through a BBC Doctor Who page. I just wanted to write to say that I've really enjoyed your character on Doctor Who. From the few clips I've seen of you on set/etc., you seem like a really nice person too. There's something about the show that intriques the Anthropologist in me. I've checked out the official BBC Doctor Who site quite a few times. It seems there's a difference in perception about the show-- in the UK it seems to be perceived as a show for younger persons, but in the US-- and elsewhere, I assume-- it is perceived just as an all-ages Sci Fi show. Actually, I only got into Doctor Who in the past few years when the classic series was rerun on our PBS (Public Broadcasting Station) on midnights on Saturday here. I've always been a huge fan of Sci Fi-- esp. 'Hard Sci Fi' (the more science-based Sci Fi). I liked the camp-ness (intentional or otherwise) of the old show & esp. liked Jon Pertwee's Doctor. The new show is absolutely wonderful-- the casting, the acting, the writing, the stories, the special effects, the music. The show is very moving & uplifting-- many episodes have brought me to tears. David Tennant is doing an amazing job as The Doctor and I certainly hope he stays indefinitely. I think it is the best thing on TV now, on both sides of the water. I'm out of touch with stiff in the uk a bit - I've been in France for nearly 7 years now and I don't read english newspapers much or see much uk television.
