| Comments: | Spin Magazine put out an Alternative Record Guide which looks at almost every quality band that could be even slightly considered "alternative": everything from ABBA to John Zorn. Needless to say, this book quickly became a bible for me. I read through their review of the Pooh Sticks a few times and decided to see if they were as good as the raves they were getting.
