| Comments: | Ciao, Paolo - I am updating the world about Rivana's grandchildren, born in October, in Colorado, in the US. Astor is a proud father, and does not appreciate his daughter, Giana, the puppy we kept. All the other puppies (9) are doing beautifully and live all around the US. The puppies all went to hunting homes and are retrieving and pointing already. Dan is looking forward to coming to visit sometime this month, if plans for getting another puppy work out. Aurora was in October in Lapland to hunt white willow grouses. One could see that she was doing what she is made for. The local guide said, that he had never seen better nose. I have been contacting most of the reputable breeders of Braccos worldwide in search of a dog (male puppy). Interestingly, the Bracco community is very close and the dedication of breeders impressive. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a dog, but patience, I'm sure, will prevail. My wife raised champion Bouvier des Flandres when she was a child and we are seeking a Bracco in the hopes of not only giving it a wonderful home, but also potentially promoting the breed standard in the United States. | Comments: | Hello! I live in Finland and I have a five years old female bracco italiano, Heinäaron Tuo Soffione. When I first saw her mother in a dog show in Helsinki, I had never heard of or saw a dog like this. We were looking after a gun dog. When I saw the bracco I couldn`t take my eyes of it. When we heard, that it is a hound dog, our choice was sure. Bracco Italiano is an excellent hunter. We hunt partridges, pheasants, black grouses and wild ducks. We are lookig for to go some day to the North of Finland, Lappland and hunt some willow grouse, too. Good luck to your splendid Rivana del Monte Alago. |
