| Comments: | I read about Buster Brown on goatlite and I am just sick to
hear that he has past away. I am so sorry! We have neighbor dogs (pit bulls) that terrorize all of our animals and last year at this time, these dogs attacked our foal. He was bitten all over and wrapped wire and debris all around himself and my daughter. My daughter has huge scars from the attack and had to go to the hospital. I have never been one to even think about shooting someone's pet--but now...the momma bear has awakened! |

address "ilovejesus". We are a Christian family and are "backyard goaters." We have 1 1/4 acrea on which we have 16 goats mostly Nubians,1 Nigerian, 2 Nubian/Saanan grades. Along with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks, guineas. rabbits, guinea pigs and 1 donkey. I homeschool my 11 yr old son Joshua. We have raised goats for 12 years along with French Braird livestock guardian dogs. We thought we wanted goats because WE wanted to have fresh milk. God had other plans! We got our first goats in Aug 86 and our son in Sept of 87 who just happened to be allergic to everything!. Sometimes God has a real sense of humor. And we thought it was us. Anyway, this is a lovely site. Thank you for sharing. |

| Comments: | We are a Christian homesteading homeschooling family. There are only 4 of us, my dad (Jim), my mom (Tammy), me (Kayla), and my brother (Matt). We live in Wisconsin. I am 9 years old. I liked your site. My mom and I would like you to write back to us if that is possible. We enjoy talking to other goat lovers. We have 2 American Alpine does... Hannalea and Julie. We also have 6 calves... Lucy, Ferdinand, Chance, John, Amos, and T-bone. We have a pig named Marlean, and 3 dogs (Jenni, Copper, and Willie). We have 34 chickens and a cat named Amigo. We are expecting our first kid in May. We are very excited. We plan on taking the goats to the fair this year. We are newbes to the goat world and are trying to learn as much as possible from all our Christian friends. We were very pleased to find your site. It is a blessing to us to find and get to know people of like minds. (You may have figured out that this is Mom and Kayla typing this together) :o)
