Comments:I loved some of your most recent pictures, the 2 bitches, mother and daughter, to be specific. We have been in Chows for about 18 or 19 years and have some good ones adn bad. We bred twice but have decided that it is not for us, my sister and I. I would be interested in knowing if you are planning to breed your cinnamon bitch. We have had 3 cinnamons and it is truly my favorite color. I, at sometime in my life, also want a blue bitch.

Together, we are StarStrcuk Chows. We live in a northern suburb of Chicago. Your website did not list where you are located. Could you advise where you are located and your upcoming breeding plan, if any.

Thank you, in advance, for your time and energy and good luck with your "brood."

Comments:Hi Carolyn, love the chow pictures.

We have had Chows in our house for the last 22 years. We currently have a lovely white female named Keystone. She came to us from a breeder in Tenn. She is about 9 years old and a real joy. We lost our male Jake last fall(he past away). We had him for 9 years we got him from a breeder Colorado when I was stationed there during my army days. He was 2 years old whe he moved into our home. The lady breeder who had him broke her ankle when he was a puppy and could get him trained for the show ring, so she was looking for a home for him and we were fortunate to be that home. His loss has been tough for me, Jake would come into my study at night when I was on call and keep me company.
We have always loved the Chow personality.

Dave

Comments:Hi, I too had a great love for the chow chow I had my first one in 1956 {I am nearly 80yrs} I bred my first litter in 1954 had them toilet trained by six weeks old,I owned 3 all black and bitches, there is no other breed like them, gentle and so trustworthy,I only ever bred the one litter as space and time was limited,I do envy and admire you with your Chow Chows, the best of luck and keep up the good work.Ruby from England

Comments:Hello, I too love this breed. My best friend, (Stephanie's Pooh Bear Kodiak), Kody passed away on December 29, 2005, and I am in search of a new best friend. I am interested in adopting a Chow Chow puppy. I am hoping to find a cinnamon, blue, or light red male. Would you have any puppies available or know of someone who does? I live in Illinois.
Looking forward to your e-mail.
Sincerly,
Stephanie

Comments:I love your site and the story. I am looking for a male, black chow for my mother. She lives with me and she has done soo much for me and my 2 yr old daughter and the only thing that she has been talking about lately is her chow chow that she had when she was a teenager. I am wanting to get one for her.
