The City of Villa Rica and its dedicated volunteers have really done a wonderful job bringing this relic of the 1800s back to life so that others can enjoy the history of the earliest gold rush in the States. A great resource to the West Georgia area is finally available. Some exercise, history, and gold panning to boot. The wonderful volunteers helped to make the visit personal. Thanks. |

Winston,Georgia, came and toured the facilities and stamper and panned for gold and gemstones. We really enjoyed talking with and visiting Carla Smothers. We plan on doing a concert to let more people know about this wonderful place.Praise the Lord for such wonderful people. |
