It's been a real struggle to kind of be a mom and not be a mom all at the same time. But I am blessed to see all of you who wrote in and who are practicing our shared faith along side your kids. I started the school year off as teacher's aid but she quit and so I'm brand new at helping 8th graders follow scripture. Needlesstosay, it's been quite a challenge. I'm always looking for activities to tie into the lesson plan so they do not spend the hour reading. We are using the book published by FaithFirst/Liturgy and Morality. I am currently working for an advocate for a young man,Richard Shere,who is incarcerated on death row in Raiford FL. This has been wonderfully gratifying work...but it is also a heavy load to bear at times. I hope that other Catholic women who also oppose the death penalty will take a moment to view Richard's website. Any thoughts you might like to share would be greatly appreciated. Rick would also be most appreciative if anyone would take the time to sign the guestbook on Richard's site. It means the world to him to know that there are people who care.
