| Comments: | hi, i had a TBI to a very large tumor , it was removed, in 2005, i work very hard, and a tumor in my thymis, i could not walk , now i walk 1 mile a day , but very lonely as i dont remember anyone, i pray every nite, and thank god i am alive, it does take hard work and to be positive , god bless you, donna marie |

Sorry to bother you with this. However, Dreamhost is allowing the e-mail addresses of those who sign your homepage to be placed on the internet, accessible by anyone who simply puts the author's name into Google search. I certainly want my e-mail address to remain private. When I read your homepage itself, the addresses appear to be blacked out. However, highlighting makes them obvious, and Google IS reading the e-mail addies and putting them out in plain sight on the internet. Perhaps you could speak with them about offering you a special type of code in which the e-mail addies remain private? Thank you. Adieu |

I just got done reading your home page and you have done a real nice job with everything. I am also a TBI member and have not been on in a while as I have been so ill lately. I was in hospice in june and was given just two days but as You can see I have made it a while longer. I just get tired of trying to make it. It is so much work every day. You have a good attitude and look so happy. Reading your home page has given me a boost to try and keep going. Thank you for sharing your story and Homepage. You seem like a remarkable woman and have found the spiritual tools needed to enhance your new way of living and thinking. I too can relate to your experience. I was a passenger in my auto accident that ocurred on 11/15/02. Don't recall much the day of the accident and vaguely remember waking up in the ICU with IV's and badly bruised totally disoriented, but I knew I was in excruitiating pain. I learned I was injured with a fractured pelvis and TBI. I was hospitalized for a week, and physical healing took 6-8 months and the emotional and mental healing has been a very slow process. I too am a survivor, and people like yourself give me faith and inspiration when you share your personal stories and your optimism of your experience, strength and hope. I'm definitely a changed person, not that same woman who got in that car voluntarily and woke up a few hours later a stranger to the world. I carried alot of resentment for a very long time, the "why me's" were overpowering, for I was an innocent party, I had a career, was happy and enjoying life to the fullest. I'm learning forgiveness, have struggled with acceptance and working on moving on in a forward direction. My lawsuit has finally been settled and now waiting for the court date for the disability claim. | Comments: | hi there, i too have tbi in march of 2000. A brain anuerysm. ooh that was some headache i'll tell you! But i'm doing better now and just finished working full time for about 8 months. i still have seizures and a lot of other issues i have to deal with, but i deal with them as them come. there are people worse off than me that's for sure. i thank God i'm here to enjoy my grandsons and watch them grow up. sometimes i get lonely and wish i could be the person i used to be, but i know that will never be, so i just have to except who i am now. hope you continue to have success in your life and all the love and happiness that you deserve. feel free to email me anytime. lori* |
