Hey Catherine. Although It has been a long time since we last comunicated, I visit your site regularly. I think it was pretty honourable of Jon to not kiss on their first outting, heh heh. Your last pannel, page 29, was very well done. The night time, the detailing of their clothes... you just keep getting better and better! I just had to give you some kudos on that one. Alice looks pretty unhappy though...oooh the suspense! Keep up the good work!

Cool comic! "Down but not out" is what I'm talking about. Your art style is basically the polar opposite of what I look for in artwork, being very soft, and a good degree of realism; where my own tastes tend to go towards the very hard edged, bold, heavy contrast-cartoony look. Despite my difference in artistic tastes, I liked the comic a lot,keep it up. Do you pull the story from life experience?

I was goofing around at work, reading historical sketches about characters from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms (amazing...Playstation 2 can actually bring you cultural enlightenment {if you don't know what I'm talking about, send me an email [in fact, send me an email anyway...I would like to learn more about you]}), and somehow managed to surf to your website. I take it that you are a Studio Ghibili fan. Even though I'm not a little girl, Totoro has been a favorite movie of mine for some time (not to mention every other movie Ghibili's ever made). I therefore compliment you on your choice of influences. What's more, that really is a great image you did of the Cowboy Bebop gang. They look great, and it's a nice dynamic pose too. Keep on drawing! P.S. You know how to avoid the problem of drawing clothing with accurate shading? Join Marvel Comics and draw them all in tights. :)
