Alas, the link is outdated. (I've been off the Web for a while.) But, never fear! I'm back! :)

Comments: Hi,

We have a gorgeous tarot deck and book set that we are
looking to offer dealers to resell. This deck is the first
successful (cohesive and beautiful) collaborative tarot
deck. It is comprised of art from 26 different artists who
came together under the editorial eye of NoMonet (Steph
King) to create a stunning deck. Each artist did three
cards. NoMonet, as well as being one of the artists also
wrote a 170-page book the basic card meanings and include a
section on how the artists created each card along with a
little bio on each artist. This book is unique in that
each card is compared to situations or characters in a
major movie or television program, yet another way for
users to be able to see make real life comparisons to each
cards meanings.

One of the artists is Arnell Ando, obviously very well
known in the tarot world. Here is a link to NoMonet's web
site www.nomonet.net Click here to see some sample cards
www.nomonet.net/sample.htm Here are some online reviews by
independent tarot web sites for an unbiased opinion of this
magical deck.

Wicce’s review http://www.wicce.com/innervision.html
Luci Zain's review
http://www.geocities.com/~ninalee//tarotref/deckaiv.htm
Nina Lee Braden’s review
http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/2282/tarot/deckaiv
.htm

Janet Berres, the President of the International Tarot
Society wrote a lovely review on the deck in the Spring
2000 newsletter. She wrote:
“I had ordered the Artist's Inner Vision Tarot sight unseen
(being a collector) and was very pleasantly surprised upon
receiving it. This deck is a collaboration of a group of
26 artists, each of whom created 3 cards for the deck. In
spite of different styles of art -- some hand drawn, some
collage -- there is a cohesiveness to the deck that flows
nicely from the Fool to the King of Coins, with rich
symbolism in each of the cards. The cards come in a
beautiful brocade bag, and the bag matches the cover of the
book that accompanies the deck. The book is quite well
done, and with each definition of each card, there is an
example of a movie or TV show or character who can be used
as an aid to remember the meaning of the card. At the end
of the book, each artist describes his or her process of
creation and why they chose certain images to use in their
cards. My only objection to actually reading with this deck
is that each card is so interesting and has so much
visually going on, that I'm afraid I would get lost in each
card and not be able to pull it all together as I like to
do when I read the cards. But for the same reason, I find
this deck to be a work of art that I can spend hours
looking at, thinking about and subsequently learning more
tarot meanings from. I highly recommend this deck to anyone
who wants to broaden his understanding of the tarot.”

Mary Greer in her Summer 2000 Tarot Newsletter has also
reviewed the deck and said:
“This gets my vote for the most exciting deck of the
year. It is a beautifully produced collaborative collage
deck by 26 artists, each of whom created three cards.
Artists included are Arnell Ando (Transformational Tarot)
Alexandra Genetti (Wheel of Change Tarot) and Sarah Ovenall
(Victoria Regina Tarot). There are no borders on the
cards, giving them maximum visual impact and each has the
title integrated into the image. You'll find Victorian
scraps, Byzantiane icons, Pre-Raphaelite and Renaissance
beauties, bits from books and journals and maps, rubber
stamps and some original paintings and block prints. Each
card is its own work of art. Along with the deck comes a
fabulous 170-page book with chatty card commentary by
NoMonet -- this is not your run-of-the-mill stuff for it
includes real-life examples and truly unique approach: one
or more movies that characterize each card. Instead of
reversals the cards include a short paragraph about "the
negative aspects." You'll also find a biography of the
artists, and a fascinating commentary on the process of
designing each card. This is a deck/book set you will
cherish because of the many insights to be gained about the
multi-dimensionality of the creative process, and about
conceptualizing the Tarot.”

The book of explanations that accompanies the deck utilizes
a new approach for tarot students that makes many tarot
concepts easier to remember and understand by comparing the
cards to TV and movie plots and characters. The deck comes
in it's own beautiful drawstring bag which matches the book
cover. The artists are: Arnell Ando, Keely Barham, Julie
Hagan Bloch, Tracy Cutts, Debba, Becky Ericsen, Rice
Freeman-Zachery, Alexandra Genetti, Connie Houser, Mark
Jetton, Jill Jones, Dennis Jordan, Sandy McCall, Amy
McClure, Michele Monet, Catherine Moore, Teesha Moore,
Tracy Moore, NoMonet, Sarah Ovenall, Renee Pearson,
Cathleen Perkins, Red Dog Scott, Rosalyn Stendahl, Susan
Renee Tomb and Barbara Wolfe. These artists are well known
and highly published in Rubberstampmadness, The Studio and
Somerset Studio magazines, as well as other venues. See
the website www.nomonet.net for biographies on all these
talented artists.

The suggested retail prices will be $35-$40 for the regular
deck and book set with dealer cost being $20.00 per set.
Minimum order is five decks at this price. These prices do
not include shipping and handling charges.

The regular edition of this book set includes a deck with
an unlined pouch and a mass-produced book.

There is a limited edition of this book set. The exclusive
numbered limited edition (250) includes a deck of which
every card is hand signed by all the participants, a lined
pouch for the cards with gorgeous handmade cording, a hand
bound book that includes a beautiful hammered metal cover,
hand stamped designs for each of the 78 cards, and at least
six hand screened pieces of art by NoMonet. Due to the
constraints of being hand-made, delivery of the Limited
Editions (which have only begun production) is estimated at
3-4 weeks. Thank you for your patience. There will only be
one price offered on the limited edition set. Price is
$200.00 for the limited edition set. The web site price
will be updated from the "pre-order" price.

The written content will be the same for each book, but the
art content will not.

Any questions please call Stephanie at (805) 644-9525 ext.
107.

Thanks for your time,

Steph

info I got about what I like to know. It's hard to begin
for me because of my family's beliefs and I guess the lack
of info. I explore before I get into anything totally and
express it. To only a few 'good' friends I am a beginning

would suggest his site to anyone interested though, and I
think that Chariot is pretty cool.

perspective to your very nice chapter on that story?

the opinion that the 'Old Religion' is only between the
