St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Chili’s Grill & Bar® announced the kick-off of their fifth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign. - Purchase Create-A-Pepper T-shirts that can be customized with permanent marker.

- Buy a customized Create-A-Pepper key that can be cut for use at home or the office.

- Eat at Chili’s on Monday, Sept. 29, when Chili’s will donate 100 percent of profits from participating restaurant sales to St. Jude.

Hi. I am an ebay seller and your mom was inquiring about some tableware that I sell and she mentioned your story. Wow-that is so great. My wife and I are medical professionals and have a combined 65 years in medicine. We have seen many patients who have undergone chemo and radiation and come through with victory. God Bless and stay the course. Your story is the kind that will encourage many to stay positive throughout their treatments and their own personal journeys. Hello to your family too. I hope everyone is well.

Comments:I did a google search for picturs of port a caths because I am going to have one put in. I have a pretty ugly pic line in my arm right now, right in the middle of the summer wouldnt you know :) I have a disease called Common Variable Immunodeficiency, Its a genetic mutation of the B cells in the body that are responsible for excreting antibodies that give us our defense against viruses and infections. Since I have no functioning immune system I have to get immunoglobulin infusions every 3 weeks for the rest of my life. The pic line is only there until my immune system can handle having a surgical procedure and get a port a cath put in. I think I was just led to your site because of your fight with Lymphoma. Lymphoma is the leading cause of death to people with my disease, and you just look like you were so strong in all of your pic's ! I am so happy to see that you are all better now! Can you tell me a couple of things about having the port a cath in? I am hoping that you are under when they put it in. And can you tell me if it really sticks out a lot from under the skin? I know it sounds shallow, but it is something I think about.. ya know? Anyway, I wont keep you dear, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
God Bless YOU

Just wanted to thank you for a great and encouraging site! I'm a 22-year-old girl from Finland, and was diagnosed with Hodgkin less than two months ago. I've had only 1 chemo treatment so far, but I'm already losing my hair.. It's great to read about someone else's experiences, it helps you to realise that cancer really is curable and that it doesn't necessarily need to change your life only for the worst -you can take the most of it (loved the butterflies in the newspaper pic! :D ).
Thanks again & take care!
