| Comments: | first i'd just like to say that your site is amazing and may the wolves and great spirit always keep you safe. i'd also like to share a vision and dream i had. dream- one night i had a dream i was looking out the big bay window at my house. i was just bored that day so i decided to look out, as i did i saw 2 wolves appear. one from the right and one from the left. the left wolf was black. the right wolf was grey. i sat there staring at them until i walked out of my body and into the yard with them. i came face to face with them, neither of us showing any sign of fear, but rather enormous love for each other. about 2 minutes later (dream time) i was thrown back into my body as the wolves howled. as i woke up i knew that it was a message from them saying that they are always near by. vision- this came to me during meditation one day. i saw a wolf run up to me and stop in front of me. wolf howled and walked around for awhile. then wolf looked down and nudged something towards me. it was a little wolf pup. i was allowed to pick up the pup and hold it for awhile. a bit later i returned the pup and thanked wolf for allowing me to hold the pup. afterwords both wolf and the pup looked up and howled turning all the colors of the chakras as they did they entered my body. since then i feel wolf alive within and i know that at times my features change to look like wolf when someone is trying to attack me or a loved one. |

| Comments: | In February 2009 my Yorkie got out of the yard and wandered off. It was cold and rainy. We looked for hours, until all the batteries died in all the flashlights we could find. He was missing the next day as well. No sign. No hope.
That night, I lay awake and asked Wolf and Owl to find him and show me where he was. The silly little dog meant alot to me. I closed my eyes and in that place between awake and sleep, I saw a silhouette of a Wolf walking across my back yard to the East. Above him, a silhouetted Owl flew silently. I awoke wondering, but then went on to sleep. The next morning, there was a phone call. He had been found, safe and sound, warm and dry. By the way, my Great-great grandfather was born in Oxford, NC in 1825. His name was John/Jonathan Benge. Son of John Wagonmaster Benge. |

| Comments: | As I lay sleeping, In my minds eye I saw a Hawk flying to me and as it got closer the great bird vanished.
Maybe 3 weeks later. I was coming home and I saw a bird on the buisy hiway people were trying to miss the bird.I thought the bird was dead. But I stoped my car and went and grabed the great bird not relizing he was alive untill his tallons stuck in my hand. So at that point I picked hem up like a chicken by the feat even though it could have taken a plug out of me. I took him to my car and wraped him in a towel and blew tabaco smoke obver him and told him not to worrie . For I was going to take him to a woman who whould heal him. I had no trouble from him. when we got to the vet ,I brought him inside to give hem to the nurse he pops his head out of the towel as I was telling them what I had. He gazed in my eye's and I told him to be a good Boy. At that point the nurse came out with a big glove and took him from me.Latter that night I called the vet and she said the hawk was ok he had a scrape on his eye they treated it with an antibiotic.sshe then said he ate some food and was pirched and preaning himself.How can a white man do this and not get messed up.Luck or past Indian spirit. can you help me find my path. | Comments: | I have loved wolves and never feared them in my early childhood. But as I grew up in society, what with going to school and other public places, the thought of Wolf slipped pass my mind. I am extremely grateful that it was not lost. Man has tainted the image of Wolf in a way that many run in fear or cower at the howl that pierces the soul. I am glad that I am not one of those people who live this way. I welcome Wolf into my life and hope that with time, we'll grow closer. It is true that, "When a man moves away from nature his heart becomes hard." I would like to thank you deeply for spreading knowledge of the Native people and Wolf for many people to read. Hopefully man-kind will learn to understand wolf as a beautiful creature with alot of meaning and understanding, than what most say is a savage beast. |
