I have been concentrating on my animal welfare/rights work...and rescue, of course. I have one remaining purebred Chow: My old Takya...he will be 14 on 28 May. His health is relatively good...just hard of hearing...and sleeps most of the time. I also have two mixes...females...2 & 3...or about. Of course all my babies are rescues. I have thought about getting another dog and I don't think I could get a better dog for me than a chow. Scruffy was a creme chow and very sweet as well as beautiful. I'm thinking of getting a chow sometime in November as I want to be able to have the time to spend with him. I live in Palm Desert, CA and have nice sized fenced yard and I live alone.
