However, there is a spelling mistake under hand hygiene the sentence is as follows: DON'T leave hand jewellery on when performing hand hygiene. Jewellery is very ***had*** to clean and hides bacteria and viruses from the mechanical action of the washing/rubbing. ** Had should be hard. |

Should one dispense or tear off the paper towel (especially in public washrooms)before startng their hand washing steps? Iam wondering if the handle on the dispensors would be considered dirty considering that one would be touching this handle with wet fingers? I"m not Chinese and even I know that. According to the form Abbot Laboratories produced it, but your organization endorsed it. The message is great, but imagery is bad. I'm quite surprised your organization would sign off on marketing materials such as this. |

There is a protype of this product on display at the Infection Control show in London Ontario this May/06. Is there a possibility that I could attend the Education Day scheduled for June 8 & 9/06 in Calgary, to introduce the product? | Comments: | I notice that CHICA special interest groups do not include: same day admit, operating rooms and post anaesthesia and wonder if CHICA feels these areas are under-represented?
In June I will have completed the ICP course. Though the operating room is my nursing specialty, I am trying to imagine blending the two specialties together to facilitate compliance and 'seamless' infection control. There is much procedural unhappiness in my workplace around the issue of contact precautions. I don't imagine we are an exception. Researching other countries reveals associated specialty ICP practitioners (ie. A doctor devloped it to address the problem because of the fact that most policies related to using alcohol wipes are not followed.
