I got back into Pokemon 'cause of the new season, and I was curious on how it'd go down... Needless to say, my curiosity led me to FF.Net's Pokemon fic archive. I looked around, but found very little good fics...so I had to look for some shonen ai stuff, even though my inner child was screaming at the prospect. And then...I read a ShiShi fic. And to my and my inner child's surprise, I loved it. After reading some more (and writing a couple one-shots of my own), I started surfing the web for palletshipping and learned about the shipping wars. I had no idea so much went down back then! I'm also slightly upset about the "death" of PI everyone talks about...*sigh* I stumbled onto your site and was amazed! There was so much information, so many pics and links...forgive the geeky jargon, but your site pwns. Majorly. I have a couple friends from FF.Net who like ShiShi also, and I'm glad there are even more fans out on the net! ...Anyway, I think your site did the trick; along with all the other pairings I hold dear, Palletshipping's got a special place, and the info from your site really opened my eyes. You cannot heat anything over a fire without it getting scorched; try placing an egg over a lit candle (close to the flame, if not in direct contact with it)and watch the black flamey-marks appear. (note: this makes for a REALLY fun effect on easter eggs. I call this the "satanic egg") Kira PS. I liked Spy Kids! gadgets are cool! even if the movie was a touch lame, I really loved the gadgets. As I went through the Evidence page, it really made me think. Not just about this pairing, but about life in general. It was really Reason To Believe that made me realize that I could find joy in pairings like these, even more than I could in the ones I'd tried before. Now it's May 2005, and I haven't thought about Reason To Believe for ages until today. But ever since I stumbled onto this site, each obsession I've had hasn't satisfied me without a yaoi pairing I can pretend exists. I'm not sure whether that's good or bad in relative terms, but for better or worse, this site really did change my views of anime/manga for ever. Anyways, I'd like to say that before I found this site sometime a year ago, I was kinda a Pokeshipper. When I was 11, I thought it, but as Jouto came it slowly disipated. Now, I'm a totally convinced Palletshipper because of your site. Before I came, I never saw Ash and Gary as anything more that rivals, except for the too quick flash of fluffiness I got but didn't reconize(I am so bad at spelling) during Battle of the Badge. In fact, I never even liked Gary that much at all. But after I saw Gary in this new light, everything just fell into place. By the end of your evidence page, I started to imeadiately understand what was going on between the rivals, and began to realize why I got the weird feeling during BotB, and why I smiled those times when Ash and Gary acted civilly to each other. I've felt an aura around them that sorta... makes you want to stop breathing in... anticipation. It was strange. It was weird. However, It was... liked. Now I know why the heck I did that. I was attracted to the idea of them being together, and also have been converted. I thank you and this site for it, and I'm also perfectly happy with reading this whole site again!(Don't ask me why I hadn't signed back then. I beleive it was when in the evidence page that you had a 'Furture Reference' to the Johto finals. You had learned about it from a Jap. friend if I'm not mistaken. Once again, thanks. I used to be a huge Pokeshipper during when Kanto was first airing, but when I came online a few years later looking for AAMLness I slowly realized that a lot of Pokeshippers are, well, damn annoying. o_o I see their "hint" sites (yeah, when Jigglypuff sings they fall asleep next to each other, OMG THEY'R EIN LUFV!!2) and listen to them post on boards, and it's all so inane.
