HAHAHAHAHAHAHA whoever thinks that "Simon and Garfunkel" or "The Velvet Underground" were the first to do "crimson and clover" are wrong it was Tommy and the Shondells. Don't get me wrong I completly respect The Velvet Underground, and they did a fine job with it or at least they didn't sloughter it, but all the credet does have to go to Tommy James and the Shondels. Good site but it could be alot better if I The goddes Grace-Tenacity were in charge. |

the name of this site, the site isn't even called Crimson and Clover anymore, it was called that like a year ago, it's just called Rocketshippers Unite now! Anyways yes, Crimson and Clover is a song by Tommy James and the Shondells, that was the origional version, but it was also later re-made by many bands including Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Ya know the song that goes, "When she comes walking over, well I've been waiting to show her, crimson and clover, over and over"? And see, crimson is a color of red, and clovers are green...and ya know how James carries that red rose that matched Jesse's hair, and then Jesse has those green ear rings that match nothing in her outfit but they match James' eyes perfectly? THAT is why this site was named Crimson and Clover! Get it? |
