Comments: What a fantastic album- the ballads are definitely the highpoints on the album, although i think they've overdone it with the orchestra but still a sublime LP. I think the next single is to be huiigher sights 'cause it was meant to be the last one but they decided to put out CBTWYK. Pretty mixed reviews overall though but the sales show the real story. Can't wait to hear the Glastonbury and the Abbey Road stuff
Cheers!!!

Comments: Further to J Mac's comments. I can't speak for the whole EP
but if it's as good as "Come Back To What You Know", then it
will be pretty damn amazing. Cheers to ya, Matt, for letting
us know that Jo Whiley was playing it today, otherwise I'd
have missed it. What a brilliant song! One small gripe, and
I'm not being picky, is that a lot of the lyrics used in the
song echo a lot of stuff that Danny's written before. Still,
who cares!, the song is ace. Roll on June 8th!.

Comments: I am sick to death of people saying that EMBRACE sound just
like OASIS, and am glad that everyone that writes in to this
site thinks differently. When EMBRACE break big (as we all
know, it won't be long), I am just gonna love turning to
these trendy tossers who now are saying the same shit, who
then proclaim EMBRACE to be brilliant and laugh at their
total fakeness. It's almost as though I'm being oppressed
by some fuckwits at this University. Example: Last Thursday,
we had a karaoke evening, and I sang "All You Good Good
People" in front of about 200 students and I was amazed
how good I felt when I was singing it. It's an uplifting
song, cheers for this website, Matt. It's the best around.
Keep up the good work and spit on the scum who diss EMBRACE.

If you search for Embrace on some Music/CD shop sites you
can hit an album supposedly by Embrace. Be warned that these
are infact some U.S. Punk (?!) band and is NOTHING to do
with the UK Embrace.

You have been warned !!

(not that it mentions anything about this album on my site
anyway !)

Good Good People video in London, they played a gig for all
the fans who had hung around. I can't remember the date
offhand, but I'll get back to you on that. It was the
weirdest thing seeing them play in this open-air basketball
court under a motorway flyover with the sun setting behind
them. Really quite special.

Comments: Saw Embrace at Rock City on the December tour - Cosmic. Their opener "Blind" and the second "One Big Family" really made it. They're one of the few bands ( Blur, Ash and Supergrass ) that have made some great sounds in Rock City - which as a venue usually has pretty bad acoustics. Also Danny was a great singer - he had real star quality. They looked and sounded the part. I only hope now that they won't abandon the medium capacity venue. They may be writing stadium filling songs but they don't have to fill Earl's Court to prove it.

another and another and another...no Embrace. Finally i
found the ep's 'all you good good people' and 'fireworks'. I
was told that was everything they released. After seeing
this page, i know better. I will try hard to find the rest,
but my experience is that it is hard to find things, here in
Holland. Anyway, thanks for the information. I hope to
receive/find updates on the band.

Nice page; what is it with Bristol Uni students & Embrace?
:)

Anyway, here's to a good 98 for the band. I've seen them
live twice - supporting the Manics and at V97, neither time
was particularly staggering but the Manics support set was
pretty good. I'd agree with the Oasis-with-Noel comment
lower down, they don't have Liam's vocal punch but they make
up for it with all those gorgeous ballads. Will they top
Oasis....? Only time will tell. Here's hoping for a tour
soon!
