My grandmother gave one to me when I was a week old. Captain (cinnamon) and I were inseparable for years. Last fall I had to have my beloved companion of 15+ years, Hawk, put down due to advanced arthritis in his lower back and hips. Medication no longer worked. I had his mother, father and brother for their whole lives, too. It just about killed me. Now, I am trying to find a puppy. preferably female, black, and smooth-coated. Can you help me? Although I reside in North Dakota, I am from Texas and get back to Dallas about once a year. I do travel to other areas often. Again, beautiful animals. Thank you, Joyce
