| Comments: | Its taken a big effort to join a group of strangers on the net (I am not a number! ;) - but as has been noted thoroughly...but still not enough, American Gothic was a beautiful, clever, subtle experiencce, which deserves to be not only savoured by those who loved it the first time around, but those friends of ours...who never got to see it at all...(via CD-Rom I can convert them all!)
I would buy the CD's...maybe even more than one (gifts for aforementioned conversion of virgin souls perhaps?) but, please, oh please don't make me move to America to watch it - the rest of the world has DVD and is not afraid to use it, dammit! - please cater for all regions. While I'm here being a number - I reckon some really talented and fantastic person should write another great, dark, fantasy sci-fi dream-story....how about it? |

Ever since the show's cancellation both in syndication and on both the SCI-FI and Trio networks, the show is unable to be seen. As the show has a strong following, however little known we followers may be, we would love to see the fie talent which was present in the show. Actors such as Gary Cole, Lucas Black, and Jake Weber made us almost believe that we were really in Trinity South Carolina whenever we'd catch the first glimpses of one of the episodes. Thank you for taking the time to read this comment, and I sincerely hope you will consider our request to restore the show, at least in a format in which all the fans may be able to see the results of all the hard work of the writers, creaters, and producers, as well as the cast and crew behind the sceens.

| Comments: | Rarely does television allow the viewer to think. Usually, you are left feeling like you've been hand-held, or protected by the networks. American Gothic was different.
American Gothic sucked me in from the first moment it aired. By the end of the first episode, I was hooked. It left you hanging, and yearning for more. It did contain violence, but what was there was necessary for the plot and not gratuitous. I have a website for the show that generally gets over 200 hits a week, even though the show has been off the air for 5 years. I have an internet mailing list that is still very active in American Gothic discussions. Obviously, the interest in the show is still alive and well. Fans have waited more than long enough to see this brilliant show UNCUT, in excellent sound and picture quality. We also need MORE! Anything extra that can be included, should be included. Interviews, behind-the-scenes info, BLOOPERS! Original Trailers, Scenes that were cut, and anything extra that could possibly be included. AG's production assistant, Craig Edwards has also been an active participant on my mailing list, and all of us would love to have an interview with him included. Aside from being a PA, he appeared in an episode. If it takes a little longer to get these episodes on DVD in order to add as many extras as possible, we'll try to be patient. And THANK YOU!! It's rare that a television show like American Gothic comes along. |

| Comments: | American Gothic is a great series, even though it consists of only one season. I started watching it only because my wife is completely hooked on it, but have to agree that it is quite compelling, mostly because there has never been anything like it on TV.
Please issue American Gothic on DVD. We'd love to watch it again in the more technologically advanced format. Every time I see it, I like it a little more. |

It was a travesty that it only lasted one season, but as you can see, that fact does not detract from its having evidently ardent fans. Our tapes are worn out from endless viewings. | Comments: | American Gothic was the only series on TV that I watched all the way through and never missed an episode of. The main problem was, I missed the first episode when it was shown on TV and only got to see it after the show was axed and my brother dug up the video he'd recorded the first episode on (he thought he'd taped over it). It would be awesome to see this great series released on DVD (video would be nice too, seeing I don't have a DVD player, or the money for one) and in Australia (where I'm from), not just the U.S. Let all us Gothniks show the Buffy fans what REAL scary shows are like! |

My mother even watched it and she doesn't like many shows on t.v., so that says alot right there! The reason I love American Gothic so much is because it was so different from any other show on t.v. then or now for that matter! Having the show on DVD would be great because it is top quality picture and sound! PLEASE release American Gothic on DVD! I would be standing in line to buy it and I will be anxiously awaiting to get the word so I can be one of the first to own the series! |

| Comments: | I would like to add my name to the list of American Gothic fans who would LOVE to purchase a DVD collection of the series. It was a brilliant show that was taken off the air before it had a chance to catch on.
The unique concept, intriguing characters, and compelling plot twists kept me watching and recording the shows on VHS. Unfortunately, through age and over use the tape quality is less than ideal. I'm especially looking forward to any extra footage, interviews, alternate endings, missing scenes, behind the scenes footage or media kit extras that generally accompany DVD releases. I’d love to hear the shows producers, directors, stars and writers comment on the show and plots. I still like to watch the shows, think the concept was brilliant, and hope that your company will release the show and any "extra" material soon. |
