I used to have a major crush on Lucas Black and the sherrif from the show. I think Shaun Cassidy is a genius, American Gothic has been my favorite show since i was a kid, and i was really bumed when they cancled it. Can't wait till I get to buy it. |

| Comments: | I love American Gothic! I was 10 years old in 1995 when the pilot episode aired. It makes me sick how Buck has the whole town under his control. He is able to get away with the rape and probable murder of Caleb and Merlyn's mother as well as the murder of Merlyn herself. That poor dear girl! She was never right in the mind after wittnessing her mother's rape at age 6. Caleb was extremely close to his older sister. She tried so hard to protect him from his evil father even after death. I would give anything to have the series on DVD or VHS. It would be interesting if Shaun Cassidy wrote a detailed book or produced more episodes. It is nice to know I am not the only one who is still addicted to this show and everything that went on in Trinedy 9 or so years after cbs canceled the program. |

I keep waiting for it to come out on DVD, and so far I have been disappointed in that as well. It's good to find a site full of people as dedicated to the show as I am, and I cannot wait to see if you are successful in your efforts to get the show released. | Comments: | Nice site-stumbled on it by accident when looking for some stuff on Space: Above and Beyond. I'd kill to see this on a decent DVD box set seeing as I haven't seen the program since it aired in the UK in about 1996/97.
Nice to see that there are so many people out there who also care so much about the show getting a decent DVD release. You never know, perhaps the powers that be will eventually take notice. |

| Comments: | I've been a fan of Gary Cole's for years..here and there and whatever he was in. When I saw previews for AG, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! (no offense, Buck)Wouldn't you know those clowns at the Network would cancel the only show I cared about - way too edgy and dangerous - to think that evil could be attractive and charming!
Glad to see there are still fans like me out there. Maybe we can effect the same response for American Gothic that we achieved for Star Trek back in the '70's!! Hope springs a turtle! |

A follow-up series or a movie would be just great - it would be fascinating to see how the relationship between Caleb and Lucas has changed as Caleb matures. But - please- keep Gary Cole and Lucas Black in the lead roles - it just wouldn't be the same without them!Also - please release theseries on DVD's which can play inEngland -my tapes are wearing out! |
