| Comments: | Britain's answer to Faith No More & Red Hot Chilli Peppers - except many would say they were much better! Hadn't realised there was an unreleased 2nd album, which, based on the sample mp3 tracks here, should have been given the opportunity to take the charts by storm. What chance it being released? perhaps via Angel Air or some other sympathetic label; then, even better, reform & do a 3rd! They were a truly great band. |

| Comments: | I totally love Atom Seed. Chris Dale is ultra cool. He inspired me to want to play bass. I never got the chance to see them live but I still listen to them all the time. they were a great band and I wish they would reunite one day. What are they all up to these days? |

I'm 40 in a couple of weeks so I guess time is creeping on for us all..but then it's the same for Pearl Jam, RHCP, Foo Fighters etc etc....hey all the good music that happens to be back at the top - yeahhhhhh....do the kids know how 'old' some of the bands are they are listening too.... as for me....in the last 6 weeks I have been asked if i'm over 18 for a botttle of wine in Tesco - just proves that alcohol preserves you :-) |

| Comments: | Definately a blast from the past. I went to see Atom seed as one of my first gigs in London in 1990 (?) (can't even remember the venue now) and then Birmingham uni a couple of years later. Still have Get in line peeking out of my CD collection. One of my mates had the Dead Happy EP and I really loved 'The Assassin.' Does anyone have this as an MP3?? Would really appreciate getting hold of it.
Bye for now. |

| Comments: | My God! The Atom Seed, skin tight black jeans and Reebok basketball boots, probably a Wolfsbane T-shirt and JB's Junction 10! What a total blast from the past.
My brother, Ed and a couple of mates used to trawl round the country after them! Walsall, Birmingham, Tamworth, Coventry, London, Buckley! I even remembering a whole gang of us crashing at Sean Worrall's after the gig at the Borderline(?) and seeing Doug Pinnick from Kings X walking down Charing Cross Road. I thought it was so cool when I used to hang out with Amir and Simon at gigs. Chris, do you still have all that long curly hair???? |

| Comments: | I can`t believe that i have`nt found this before. The Atom Seed were a great band. My friends and myself used to travel from Shrewsbury to see the band on a regular basis after seeing them support the Chilli Peppers in Birmingham.
Suffice to say they blew the Chilli Peppers and us away. I bought the first ep that evening and still today it is a heavily played favourite. We were gutted when the band folded. We met Sean Worral (Spelling ?????) a few times after but have lost touch. Thanks for setting this site up so that us oldies can relive our past. What are the boys doing nowadays. They were too good not to carry on in music in some form. What great memories i have. Cheers. Les from Shrewsbury. |

| Comments: | I've had one of those bizarre mornings when something triggers a great memory, and you Google - just to see..... 15 years ago, first time i'd experienced a full house in the TIV in Buckley. Amazing atmosphere and sound.
I feel really awful admitting this now...... i pinched Paul's black wooley hat when he was crowd surfing. I was only 15 and when he tried to shame the person who'd took it i stuffed it up my top with guilt, i couldn't admit that i wanted his hat. Sorry |

Fucking speechless. I loved this band, they were always great value live and "Get In Line" is one of the very few albums I can listen to without skipping tracks. Wish they'd reform. |

Many happy memories of their shows, from outdoor festivals at Mildenhall, small gigs in Coventry and Milton Keynes,to the all-nighter at Rock City {where the writing was on the wall}and the last gig,at some God-forsaken crap-hole in Corby. I seriously miss you lads, you will always bring back good memories.Cheers. |

| Comments: | lo all
I just thought id look through my old albums and my atom seed album had gone :( so thx to the good old net i found this site. I saw the atome seed at the tiv in buckley (north wales) and loved them. Then a few months l8r the band i was playing in at the time suported them. I met chris and we sat and talk'd about bass guitars, bass amp's, and bass and bass and bass lol !!! Hes a top bloke. When the atom seed split i was gutted coz they did rock live and where a top load of lads. Then a few years l8r i was playing for a band called IQ zero and the boss of the tive asked up to suport a unknown american band.(i cant remember the name). So we turnd up and the band was l8 so we sat around and in come chriss with a load of yanks. So we sat again talking bass and more bass. Then a 12 months passed and Beuse Dickenson was playin the tiv so we all went to see them and there was chris at the bar (yea he was playing for Brucey :) so we had a chat about bass (theres a shock).Chris is a top bloke. I hope hes doing well and all the other members of the band. Ohh yea thx for the mp3's !! im not so gutted now !!! Have fun and be good if you can :)) Danny |

| Comments: | The Atom Seed! So many memories. 1st saw the band supporting The Electric Boys at Manchester International 2. On the bus there someone said 'Has anyone heard of the support band?' and someone said 'Yeah they are a Chilli Peppers rip off' Wasn't going to even bother watching them but glad I did. They blew me away! Saw them live loads of times. Birkenhead Stairways (twice including the gig when Paul hung upside down from the rafters mentioned elsewhere) Liverpool Krazy House, Bradford Rios (couple of times) Buckley Tiv, London Marquee etc. Had an Atom Seed hoodie and lost that but I still have and wear my Dead Happy T shirt.
My favourite memory of the lads is in May 1992 when I went to the FA Cup final at Wembley. Had a great day because Liverpool won then headed down to Charing Cross Road to get drunk. I was in a crowded pub when I looked down the bar and saw Simon and Chris. Simon (who is a top top bloke) said 'Hello' because I had met him 3 or 4 times previously. Anyway I spent the evening with the lads going to a Rock Club. I phoned my girlfriend and made here insanely jealous. She fancied Chris so I drunkenly sang down the phone 'I'm on the ale! With Chris Dale!' Also bumped into Simon after an amazing Mindfunk gig at The Marquee. Loved seeing Metal Monkey Machine supporting Atom Seed too. I have a MMM mini album with their great cover of Cocaine and Death By Big Mac on it. |

Anyway Chris and I wrote for ages, (including when he was in the bruce dickinson band). Don't know how we lost touch, but if hes out there I'd love to know what hes up to nowadays!!! |

I even bought those dodgy tracksuit trousers and thought i looked ral cool in them. I still have the dead happy shirt. Thanks for some great gigs and a classic album. |

| Comments: | Hi Guys,
I'm living in France. One of my old friends just asked if I had "Get in Line" CD. Sure ! I first heard Atom Seed in the early 1990. The song "Shot Down" has been played several times during nights on the beach, "campfire" like. We used to play this song with our band too. "Get in Line" was a very good album… bye (and sorry for my English) |

| Comments: | Well, this is a turn up for the books!!!
I got the Get in Line album nicked after we were broken into while I was at Uni in Sheff, back in about 1994. I had seen them live play somewhere in Woverhampton at some dodgy club a few years before that (maybe 1990ish?) and although I was one of only about 10 people in the audience (three of which were my mates!) they utterly shook the place to pieces! One of the loudest and most energetic gigs I have ever been too (and by GOD, I have been to a lot!). I LOVED it. But I think they got a bit pissed off there were so few people there cos they ended up kicking a big hole in one of the concrete pillars that was to the side of the stage!!! Oh well, we had fun and they were top! Its been a while now and I was on a bit of a nostalgia trip and thought I would look to see if I could find their album online somewhere, but alas, to no avail. Lukcy I came across this site cos it was nice to hear some of those MP3s again!! Hope all is going well for the boys, whatever they are doing.........anyone know? John |
