I want to thank Pastor Hal Johnson for always taking care of us guys while we were at the SIMM Ministry Men's Home. I am grateful to God that I was able to be served by such wonderful and caring people. Pastor I still owe you a geat debt of gratitute, I have not forgotten the compassion, grace, and mercy you showed me in my time of need. You truly displayed Christ like character when you came to my aid. I have had a lot of falls, and gotten bumps, scrapes, and bruises, but JESUS is still my Lord and Saviour. It is for this reason that I get down on my knees and give him all the praise glory and honor. I have realized that my calling in life is to be an Evangelist of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. | Comments: | I am a friend of the Warren Glaude family who have just suffered a great loss with the passing of their daughter Tifainey this last Monday evening. I am amazed and admire their strength through this very difficult time in their lives. I realize that your church family is the backbone of their enormous faith. My prayers and love follow them as they themselves pass through this struggle. I read a quote last night as I wandered through my own grief and wanted to share it as it touched my own heart. "Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never, ever the same." Warren, Abby, Warren, Jr. Tosha, Teshira, my daughter Sloan, and all those I have met during this journey have left footprints on my heart as did Tifainey and I will never, ever be the same. | Comments: | Some people believe that "everything we're dealing with now is just a test, not to destroy us, but to bring us to a place of intimacy and maturity in our walk with God." I still don't see this. I am not spiritual enough, maybe I am spiritually dead. My biggest joy was Graduation from the SIMM Ministry and having my own Apartment. In less than one month of being in that new apartment I have been assaulted once and my apartment burglarized twice, in the span of two weeks. Now you tell me, Is this a test from God? To test my faith or lack thereof? I dont know. I just know that I have been blessed with a beautiful girl who is always encouraging me to turn to God and to let God take care of things. I want to but I think I have been spiritually DEAD since the age of 15. |
