At the beginning of September, visitors to this page began an endeavor which we hoped would enlighten everyone to the existence and workings of the DDD. As the story began, we learned about the young worker named Jovan. A friendly, charming young gent whose disappearance opened thoughts about what was actually going on in the "office." Our cast of characters, thus far; The Elderly Majestic One: apparently the matriarch of the group. This character seems to be the "know-all/tell-all" of the group. She maintains close ties with "The Eminent One." She also has many interactions with other members of the group. The Quiet One: Making a first appearance, this one doesn't have very much to say and we all wonder what could be learned from her. Lily: This is the "teen" of the group. With lots of energy to spare--she goes after quests like they were Saturday morning cartoons. Jovan: Young man of the office. Affable, well liked. He has disappeared at the beginning of our yarn. The Funny One: This one is hard to describe. Hermorphrodictic, it is neither male nor female. This creature spends lots of time muttering negative things to no one in particular. Very little is known about this character except that it has a bit of sadness surrounding it. Al: One of the workers of the office who is trying to dominate all the other workers and overthrow the Eminent One. He is not very concerned about the work which is being done at the DDD and, more so, he really, really wants to rule the world. Al's Wife: No real characterization here. Other workers wonder how much influence this character has on Al. The Eminent One: Leader and ruler of the entire operation of the callers. He answers only to The Supreme One. The Supreme One: Well, you know... ****************************** The Dastardly Deathcups Division is a secret order. The office referred to in this text could be real, though the characters are all fictitious. The DDD is so secret that the workers of the office are not even sure of who/what it is they work for and what they actually do. But the phones keep ringing! The phones keep ringing and as long as they do--workers in the Division will have to answer. That is, afterall, their job. Anwering the phone and assisting the ones out in the field. This is their story. The story of the keepers of the DDD keys. Join us now. Feel free to add in your own part. Welcome!!! The people and events described in this story are Fictitious. Any resemblance to any person living or dead, or any actual event, is purely coincidental. the sun constantly hid behind large, pregnant grey clouds.
Leaves, which had been hard and firm in summer, now crisped
under foot. The only sounds filling the air were
the "caws" of circling buzzards. And hungry rats quickly
crossed the barren streets. This was a day that would make anyone shudder. Yes, even the wildly minded Elderly Majestic One! Pulling a hand-knit shawl tighter to her breast, the matriarch gingerly crossed the street. In seconds, the bus to DDD Headquarters would slide up to the curb and roll out its red carpet. All for her, she smiled to herself, all for her! Would it be today that she would lay the secrets of the cunning Al before the Eminent One? Or, should she wait? Wait until, perhaps, the time was just a bit riper...This was a question that only the impending bus ride could answer... |

| Comments: | When the bus arrived, the driver did not bother to look at
who was getting on or off. He had other things on his mind this morning. Things on the route were slow this time of year. More people using 'Ride-Share', he gussed. To any extent, the drivers were going to have to take a cut in pay or face being laid off. "A cut in pay, indeed!", thought the driver. "After more than twenty years on this route and now they want me to take a pay-cut!. I'll show them! They have no idea who I am!". And indeed, they did not. He was the man you read about in the morning paper. The one that shot his coworkers at the post office. Or the man that shot and killed a dozen peope down at the corner McDonalds, while they were enjoying their Chicken McNuggets. A virtual timebomb. "No, they have no idea", he thought as he closed the door and continued on his way, patting his coat. |

| Comments: | In a far-away part of town, a group of calltakers gathered
in an almost abandoned parking lot. "I'm telling you," the thin, petite brunette said with clipped speech. "Something really weird is going on here..." "Weird like what?" The tall one was known as Dee Dee and her blond hair, full of black roots, told why. "You keep on saying--almost whining-- that something is going on here, but you never really tell us what the heck you're talking about! Come on, Jane. If you know something we don't--how about spilling it?" The group of women, a cross-section of young-America, were new to the offices on the edge of the parking lot in which they now stood. None of them had been with the business longer than two months and the shortest one of the bunch, a small redhead called "Pepper," had only worked at the place two weeks. Most of these workers were new to the employment force. All of the workers were inexperienced at this particular type of business. Worse, it seemed that no one in the entire office building knew exactly what kind of business it was. This had led to the morning meetings of this partcular group of workers. Little did they know that all of the workers in the offices of the DDD had similar meetings. Though the pay was too good to question, the strange happenings of late made the girls wonder about the phone calls they received and the enterprise they propelled. "That bus driver." Jane stammered. "He was weird, it was weird. The whole thing was weird--him calling in about some bus strike! Who did he ask to speak to?" "You know who." Pepper barely whispered this and as she did she glanced around furtively. "You don't think we're being watched--do you?" |

| Comments: | Pepper also knew that the floor manager was acting a bit
strange as of late. Though she had not mentioned anything to the other girls, his new habits were strange indeed! The same person who had turned red from frustration only a short time ago (most assuredly when workers in the office were goofing off--or running out for cigarette breaks at the peak time of activity in the room), now only laughed and shook his head when these happenings occured. It was kind of like someone had been feeding him some kind of drug! Perhaps, a relaxer to make him less uptight. Prozac did seem to be the drug of plenty among the office workers. As Pepper smiled at her own stupid question (were they being watched!! Of course!, a more-than filled-to- capacity bus pulled up to the curb. When the ancient doors flew open, Pepper gasped at what she saw..... |

they're in for. I cna't wait until that loony bus driver busts up in there with a .45 caliber. He was so dense I can't believe he believed me whin I talk him that the people plotting against him work afternoons. I have to see teh security tape of that. I hope Liliy isn't working tonight. Yeah the hermorphidite will probably get horny and it'll bust a sex organ. Ha! Juices everywhere. The fat slob!! Then that perv bus driver will get his wack off on cause I'm sure he likes to hump rumps!! Whata place I work in. Yeah the new ones won't last very long at all. Esp. after tonight." What Jane didn't realize was the gross sercurity guard watching her with piercing eyes. Planning and Plotting- one of these days she won't have someone to walk her out and he';; be much abliged to do it. |

because I was searching the word 'deathcup' on the net... Do you know that 'Deathcup' is the name we give in english to the most poisonus mushroom (the 'Amanite Phaloide', that we call it in french, or with the scientific term). I know it because it's my nickname on the net, I have some book that talk about it.
