Comments:Often, the population of countries who do not dub foreign language films have a better command of those languages. Obviously, watching movies is both fun and an effective tool for FLT. On these regards, LiveScripts non-profit association has the legal framework to publish complete movie transcripts and pay royalties afterwards, we can also market a FLT method based on fragments of movie dialogues practiced in an international network like Skype.

Comments:Dear Mr. Mendez and Interested Writers in Language Acquisition:
I recently edited and published in hard print (paper) an anthology entitled "The 'X' Point in Education: Where Imagination is Lost" that is also the ninth annual volume of "The Journal of the Imagination in Language Learning and Teaching." The publisher was The New Jersey City University at which I teach. This illustrated publication contains 31 articles by authors from some 15 countries. The next Journal will be published online in 2012.
The decision to attempt this was recently made and is yet to be approved. However, I would like to establish contact with educators and linguists who might be interested in such an undertaking. The articles would be edited in keeping with the standards established in previous issues of the Imagination Journal. If you are interested, I invite you to write to me at two e-mail addresses: coreil@erols.com and ccoreil@NJCU.edu.

Comments: I would like to thank all of you who have signed our guestbook and am delighted that you have found our site useful. The distance that the written word can travel--especially now via the internet--is awesome.
If any of you would like to contact me personally, I ask that you use both e-mail addresses listed. In virtually all cases, however, I prefer that you use this guestbook. It makes all of us into a community of sorts. Please do not hesitate to criticize, question or make suggestions.
I hope to be putting Volume VII up in late summer of 2003 or thereabouts.
From time to time, I will say hello here and sometimes on your sites and e-mail addresses. I have visited quite a few and have learned a lot. Again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Comments:I have been interested in the use of songs in teaching ESL but have been able to find very little research on the topic to support my own research project -- that was until I discovered "The Journal of the Imagination in Language Learning and Teaching. In the Journal, I have found numerous articles on research on song in teaching language and a wealth of other information. Making the Journal available on the Web was a wonderful idea, making so much valuable information widely available for the researcher and the language teacher.
