The technical event at Citroen garage May Crutzen was held september 8th 2001. The event theme was the braking system of the BX and lots of info was given to the dozens of people on how to maintain and repair the system. On sunday july 29th there was a french car meeting at Lelystad racing circuit. Everything for cars from Citroen, Matra, Peugeot, Renault and Simca. I visited the event and it was great to see SO many french cars together, there must have been hundreds. Most seen cars were 205 and R5GT. Comments: Sportive BX Meeting 2001

The Sportive BX Meeting 2001 was held on june 24th in Den
Haag / Holland. The event was organised by Harry Prins of
the CitSportSite with big support of Mike Bijlsma. The
weather was great and lots of people turned up. Citroen
garage owner Mike Bijlsma offered his parking lot as event
space. He did a very good job by putting a 16v DTM BX (200+
hp) at a small exposition along with a 1970 carburetted SM,
a 11 Sport and a CX Prestige. I took lots of pictures and

Comments: Vacances en France 2001

10 BX crazed guys went on a holidays to the south of France,
near Perpignan. We drove with 5 BX-es (2 Sports, one 16v,
one 17 TurboD and a 19 TurboD Break). The first week we went
over the Route Nationale and visited Rennes. We could not
get inside, but took loads of pictures on the parking lot.
All in all I took 300 pictures during the holidays, mostly

Comments: BX club Holland raid through Hoekse Waard

On sunday 4th of march 2001 there was an club raid organised
by the dutch BX club. The raid started at lunchroom/diner 't
Stammineeke in Mijnheerenland. Over 30 cars joined. From
10:00 the cars came in one by one and at 12:00 the parking
lot was filled with BX-es. Some very nice cars showed up.
