I guess this email is addressed to all thos that dont really KNOW MR.Ivany...As a Friend Who has know Corey since his early university days i feel that I have the right to say that "I really KNOW Corey". Over the past few years i have gotten to know both Corey and his wife, Vanessa; and to put it mildly it has been interesting. Corey always has an opinion and a true interest in all that he has found himself involved in. I guess i wanted to write this message to tell a little story and to bring everyone up to speed a little background info is required. As you may know; Corey grew up (GOT OLDER) in Georges Brook. A small town boy who was proud of where he came from. I on the other hand did most of my getting older in the heart of St.Johns. At first glance you might think that we were two totally different people, hovever upon further investigation the differances seem to get smaller and less signifigant. We both posess a great love of Newfoundland and the ideals that come with being a newfoundlander. We both have a lot to offer to others as a result of the opportunities we have had in our lives. I ,however, was just a little slower to discover who i really was. Students - Learn from and feed off the passion which Corey posesses for all he does. You will be better people for it. Parents - Support your kids in all their dreams and endevours. Never condem a strong spirit and continue to grow throughout all you life. Fellow Teachers - Sustain the same level of passion that Corey posesses for his chosen vocation. Friends in general - At the hands of those on the outside you would be led to believe that Newfoundland is the poorest province in Canada.. To them i say walk a mile (KILOMETER) in our shoes and see just how wealthy we really are...Alberta is not your only optiion...A strong education breeds choices and you may just discover a part if yourself that you didn't know existed.
