And I love Downside, even though this isn't their site, it might as well be cause they played in your basement 1000000 times. I wish I could marry that band. | comments: | im sorry, after reading what you had on your site about ground zero, i just had to respond.
1-they ripped kids off? where on earth did you come up with this info? ground zero was probably the only venue on long island at the time that didn't ask for money up front and let you do the door yourself if you asked to.
2-you boycotted them and they shut down? excuse me? who boycotted them? the place was booked so often that people had to book dates 9 months in advance at times. and they were not shut down by your "boycot". they lost their liqour license and couldnt afford to keep open (partially because they didnt ask for money upfront at shows)
