I hope everyone will support Gayla in nominating her as President of the Justin F Kimball Alumni Association. We need dedicated and caring leaders like her to guide our Association. Thanks again for allowing me to attend your reunion. Ron Sills Class of 60 |

You have a wealth of information here, and it's amazing what can be discovered about old friends and hangouts by visiting other classes' websites and, of course, what I refer to as our mothership, www.justinfkimball.org. If you do remember me, I'm not conceited, stuck up or whatever those "SLAM BOOKS" used to say about me. I admit to being shy - Kimball did have its cliques and I didn't seem to be a part of any of them.
I would love to hear from anyone - more especially those that went to Mark Twain, TW Brown (1 year), Atwell, etc. David Lee, if you are out there, give me a shout. I have stories to tell on you! |

Reunion30,as well as this amazing website. I will certainly try to make it to future events: golf, Ranger's games, 50th (YEEOOOW)birthday party, etc.,if possible. My mom, Barthene Pearce, also enjoyed visiting with everyone at the reunion. Having my mom as Mr. Durrett's secretary during my years at Kimball was like being constantly chaperoned; the up side was that she sure had (has) some stories to tell! It seems that I am almost neighbors with Mary Sue Evans Campbell and Mike Smith, and I don't think I connected with either at the reunion. My husband, David, and I live on the west shore of Lake Tahoe in Tahoma, CA. It can sure be difficult being a U.T. ex and Cowboy fan here in hostile territory and living with a Stanford grad and Raider fan is sometimes trying. Anyway, I look forward to keeping up with everyone-- thanks to AlGore for inventing the internet. CP |

| Comments: | "Stay in touch." How many times was that phrase spoken a
week ago at the reunion gathering? Or in an e-mail before the big night or since? Now the joy begins. We stay in touch we each other, with good friends that the circumstances of living life long separated. I love this e- mail technology! So for anyone out there in Knight land who needs to know here are my two e-mail addresses. At the office I am garywilliscpa@cs.com and at home I am now willisgarycpa@aol.com. The home email listed earlier on this website is dead. We got a new Gateway this week with a free year of aol so we killed the old aol account. (They told us to do it that way!) Keeping in touch will take a bit of effort, please make sure this site knows your address. We don't want to lose anyone, ever again. |

I didn't find out about the reunion in time, or I would have made plans to be there. I know you'll all have a wonderful time. Did anybody invite Mr. Durrett? He's still alive! He's a good friend of my father's--although, I don't know what the state of his health is. | Comments: | As we near our half century mark enjoy . . . John Morris,
c. 1987 A SCHEDULE OF BENEFITS It is a part of the policy. On this paper you find How highly they value Those things that may happen To you in time. Before your eyes Your eyes are written Down at half a million. They will replace each hand With fifty thousand dollars. Piecemeal you are worth a fortune. But perhaps nothing Of this will happen. Then You will never receive them, The benefits. Certain Exclusions, too, are written in. If you have lost your life Without noticing it Somewhere in your forties Or misplaced it perhaps in childhood, That casualty does not appear on the schedule. Still, for years for every month that passes You will have your salary By way of compensation. Over the door of your job Is written Arbeit Macht Frei. Your are assured you will get What is coming to you. Though this is not a part of any policy. That finally must be your consolation. I came across this lyric by Morris on the threshold of my 40th birthday some years back. It kinda hit me in the gut, especially that line, lost your life/ without noticing it/ somewhere in your forties. I thought Morris caught the emotion of the midlife crisis nicely in those lines and the tone of the lyric. Coming to a 30th HS reunion is good therapy for us all. Friends and relationships are what make life worth all the trouble. See you this weekend! |

| Comments: | I'm so excited! I got a last minute ticket to come for
the reunion. I'm a little apprehensive because I'm afraid I won't recognize anyone. I lost my year books to my ex years ago so I have nothing to look back on. Oh well, guess I'll just wing it. I've been married to my husband Larry for 25 years this year. We have a daughter, Christine - 19, who attends college in Chico, party school of the US and she excels at it. She's my spittin' image and we love her to death. I've worked for the same insurance company for 30 years now but know nothing about insurance. I'm in the systems department, oops IT, as they call it now. Anyway, after that many years I get almost a month vacation so it's not so bad. My husband and I own a house in Incline Village, NV which is on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The most beautiful place in the country. We try to spend every moment we can there. Everyone should visit Lake Tahoe. Let me know and you can use our place. We've lived in a few places, Grand Prairie, Denver, Chicago, New Jersey and now Novato, CA.just north of San Francisco. Although I've lost my parents I still have many brothers and sister in Dallas area so I get home at least once if not twice a year. I guess so much contact with home has kept my Texas accent as I can't even respond with the word Fine, without being asked where I'm from. It's funny to see how tickled people get when they hear a southern accent. I take advantage of it any chance I get. Looking forward to seeing all Saturday nite! |

I have been married to Larry for 26 years and can honestly say that not a day goes by that he doesn't make me laugh. I met him on "Sr.Skip Day" at the lake with some of you!!!! We still live in Las Colinas in Irving. We have raised two daughters. Beth followed her Dad's tracks to A&M. She graduated in 98, married another "good Aggie" and is teaching 2nd grade in the Cfbisd. Brittney is a junior at Abilene Christian University (breaking the bank!). I work in the office at MacArthur High School. It is the most entertaining thing that I have ever done. They can't get anything past me because I know all of the tricks! Larry still has his construction business and stays constantly busy. Diane Tyler and I are still best friends. We both have daughters in the "6ft and Over Club." Kathy O'Neal (my cousin) and I have enjoyed raising our kids together in the same crazy family. I ran into Beckey Moore at a wedding only to discover that we both had kids at A&M. I also came across Jerry Smith (class of 69) at a national dance competition. Our daughters competed against each other (mine one!). It is so much fun to read the bio's and discover just how much we all have in common. MIKE CRUTCHER....my Dad is looking for you. Email him at lakelew@msn.com Hope you all have a great time at the reunion. To all of you golfers out there...if you come to the Byron Nelson in May, call me, you can park at my house! May God bless each and every one of you. Caryn |

the pictures that are posted - what a blast! But I must say (at least on my own part) I think we're all much better looking now! What do you think? Looking forward to being recognized on the 19th....... (p.s. great job on the website guys, much thanks to all of you for all the hard work) |

| Comments: | The website is wonderful! It's been so much fun reading
about everyone. It really makes me sorry that I can't be at the reunion. Especially since I know that I would win all the golf prizes! I married Wes Johnson (Kimball '66). We are living in Toledo, Ohio. We were transferred with Wes' job in 1987. Were told we'd only be here 2 years -- and guess what. We were moved to Chicago area for a while and then back to Toledo. We like Toledo but the winters last too long. However, the 80 degreee summers aren't bad. After 13 years people tell me I still have an accent. Since I love my heritage I try to hang on to it, anyway it's always a good conversation starter! We have two sons, Jason is married and has an 8 month old baby and Toby is 25. Jason and his family live in the Cleveland area and Toby was transferred back to Toledo this past Feb. Grandparenting is the greatest part of getting "old". It's just like you've always heard --spoil'em and send them home. I'm the Assistant Dir. of Christian Education at our church. I work part-time so it gives me plenty of time for golf and piano lessons. Have a great time at the reunion! Would love to see all of you. |

| Comments: | Thanks for all the hard work that you all have put into
this website. I am so glad someone called me and told me about a reunion. It just doesn't seem like 30 years could have passed so quickly. What was I thinking? Try telling a young person to enjoy their teens and twenties and they look at you like "are you crazy?". I try to tell the ones I work with that enjoy life while you still feel good. Arthritis has set in and won't go home! A little about us, I married a "foreigner", as my mother called him. We have lived in Hungary and traveled all over Europe. I had to learn another foreign language. After many years of practice, I can actually ask for a beer!! My husband lives in Hungary part of the year as his family is really old( and I thought we all were). I have to take care of the photography business that I own and also work for SBC as a manager in the corporate security office. Boy, do I have some good stories to tell, but then I'd haf to kil ya'. I am working the night of the reunion but hope to make it there before too late. If I don't recognize some of you all, bear with me as I am getting blind too. Who ever said with old age comes wisdom. Phooey, I'd rather just be wise without having to get old. See you all there. Please call or email me any time. I'd love to hear from you. |

| Comments: | Thanks to Janet and Gayla and others for all of your work
in putting this together. I have enjoyed reading everything and being reminded of those memorable years. My husband, Don, and I have been married for 27 years. Our son is a senior at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and our daughter is a senior at First Baptist Academy in Dallas. We've been in and around Dallas all of our lives and live near Duncanville. As all of you, life keeps us busy. Don and I both work in education. He is dean of students, and I teach sixth grade(20+yrs>) and have been drill team director for the last 6 years. My daughter is captain this year so I've relived many of my memories from Troubs. Would love to hear from anyone. Thanks to Steve Pollard who rescued me from the "lost list". |

up with old friends. Thanks to Gayla and Janet and everyone else for all of your hard work putting together the web page and the reunion. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the reunion, but I would love to hear from old friends. Just drop me a line at this address. E-mail is great way to reconnect with old friends. I am living in New Jersey, never thought I would end up here! I haven't been to Dallas in years; I am sorry I won't be able to be part of this reunion. Maybe I'll see you at the next one? Take care, Joan |

| Comments: | Howdy Folks! "Thanks" to all the GREAT work by our Renuion
Planning Team I can log-in from the East coast and feel closer to home. In case you're wondering what am I doing in Maryland... I chased a rainbow a couple years ago and ended up moving here. Maryland, by the way, is a Southern State on the Mason Dixon Line and Civil War reenactments are plentiful. So, I provide constant reinforcement to the Southern line, but there's a hellofa lot of yankees up here. I still wear my cowboy boots and fly my Texas flag over the half acre I've annexed as a Texas Embassy & residence. I sure miss Texas, but the country side and weather here is hard to beat. We live in a house we designed & built on the 17th hole of the East Course of Turf Valley Resort, which is west of Baltimore about 20 miles on I-70 in Ellicott City. Our basement is finished- out as a Texas Honky Tonk, bar & pool hall. We have deer and fox hanging out in our back yard nearly everyday. Beth & I have been married for 25 years and have 3 great kids who all drive. Our oldest son, Orion, is a Junior at Texas A&M and a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps Reserves. This fall Chad starts his Senior year and Ashley her Sophomore year in high school. Beth & I have started our own design & construction management company, which keeps us challenged and young! Well, we think young anyway, but the energy level needs a boost every now & then. "Thanks God" for Jose Cuervo! I'll be back to retire on my family's farm, if not sooner, but just in case... WHEN I DIE, BURY ME IN TEXAS! If you ever get out to our neck of the woods, "Yawl come see us!" |

| Comments: | Hello, Knights....great website! I am looking forward to
seeing everyone in August. My main accomplishments include being married to my first wife (Karen Hamilton of Carter High) for nearly 27 years and our two kids; Jason (grad of A&M last May and Erin (Sr. at Texas Tech). We are blessed! OH..and I still have my hair (that's gotta count for something)! All of us Knights have less than 30 days to get skinny and rich before the reunion! Git to wirk! For those of you who can't make it, we will be thinking of you and you have our email addresses. See y'all soon. Norm. |

| Comments: | Wow! Is this space gonna be big enough? Thanks to you guys
for the fantastic website. E-mail is absolutely the bomb! It has saved me a small fortune in overseas telephone calls! Not to mention that it's a great way to plug back into my past & to all of you. Well, my mom just moved last year from the outpost that is Oak Cliff. I visited her in May after attending a convention, and I wandered into Kimball to see if they knew anything about a reunion. Once I got past the two security guards and the metal detector, everyone was very nice. But of course, they knew nothing. Still married to the same guy for 26 years. Our boys are 10 and 12. We had many wonderful childless years and did fun things like canoe down the St. Croix river and take our bikes to France. Now I'm helping coach youth basketball and preparing for the Bar Mitzvah of our eldest, to be held 6/30/01. And when I'm not doing that I'm working. My own company. I have a great contract with the city of Buena Park, California, and I run the Convention & Visitors Office for them. It's a truly wondrous gig. We are better known as the home of Knott's Berry Farm. My brother is now very famous in Dallas as the drive-time talent for 1310 AM--The Ticket. I haven't lived in Dallas since we graduated, having done time in Houston, Lake Charles, LA, and now out here on the Left Coast which is truly home. I'm not sure yet if I'll make it to the reunion. But I will visit the website (will it go on even after the party?) and would love getting e-mails from you guys. I've done a terrible job of keeping in touch. But my life just got too big for the time frame in which to live it. I'm sure it's the same with all of you. We should all make an effort to contact someone who hasn't logged onto the site yet to be sure they do. E-mail me at mndavidson@earthlink.net All the best to all of you, Pattie Rhyner Davidson |

| Comments: | Hello everyone! This is the greatest -- being able to
retouch the lives of people whom we grew up with. I was unable to attend the reunion. Its really wonderful to read what has happened to so many of our old friends. I've been in nursing 25 years, working in a Mesquite Hospital in the Emergency Department. I moved to the country about 4 years ago. I live on 12 acres East of Dallas and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the trees, ponds, ducks, horses, dogs....always did love nature. Both of my children are grown. Daughter, Jessica, is finishing her last year of Law school in December, 2000. Son, Justin, served in Marines, now owns a roofing company in Duncanville. God bless us all. Biddy |

| Comments: | Gayla, you and Janet are doing a tremendous job on this. I
hope you don't get tired of receiving accolades like this. Thank goodness for classmates.com. I've been out of touch for about 25 years. I moved to California right after I graduated from Arlington. I lived in San Francisco and the Bay Area for 13 years then moved to Sacramento where I've been for 12 years. I've seen two fellow classmates in the last 25 years and both were chance meetings. I ran in to Norman Kasal in Westcliff Mall in the early 80's when I was back visiting my folks, and I was having lunch with a freind of mine at Hamburger Mary's in San Francisco and she said a friend of her's from college (TCU) was going to join us. It turned out to be Nancy Steinhoff. About the only Kimball grad I've really stayed in touch with is Jack Doak from the class of '71. He and I roomed together in Arlington for 2 or 3 years. I've got 3 kids, been married 22 years -- 12 the first time, 10, the second. Read the bio. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this reunion. It's been a lot of fun reading what everyone has been writing and then going through the yearbook to see what they looked like. I am really amazed at how many and how few I remember. Even though I live in California, I'm very proud to call Dallas home. I'm still a Cowboy fan and can't stand the 49ers, which made for a lot of excitement in the early 90's. Get my nametag ready. I'll see y'all next month. |

| Comments: | Hey guys, can we invite the famous movie star and director
who graduated a year ahead of us in the Kimball class of 1969? Stephen Tobowlosky! You saw him as the pushy insurance agent in Groundhog Day. You saw him as the accountant with the strategically placed office in Sneakers (a Robert Redford film). You saw him in Mississippi Burning. He's been on the TV. In plays. He'd make a great Master of Ceremonies for us, or just a fine guest. Anyone still got a line on him? Reel him on in to Big D for the reunion bash. I'd like to see him again and hear if Hollywood is as bad as the tabloid press make it out. Thank you for the fine work on the web page and the reunion you guys. Isn't email great! Gary Willis |

| Comments: | Hi everyone. This is my umteenth visit to this great
website. And I enjoy it every time and find new stuff every visit. Great job Gayla. Thanks for the hard work Janet and everyone. It's come together quite beautifully. A little about me for everyone reading: I stayed and worked in Dallas until 1994 then moved to the country. I now live an hour south of Dallas out on 25 acres of wonderful peace and quiet. Never married but have family around me still. My sister (Kimball class of 67) lives next door with her husband. I've lost a brother in 1997 so my heart goes out to the families and friends of all those on the Memoriam page. The reunion will be a blast and I know everyone is going to enjoy it. Funny thing: I have recently started listening to KLUV - the Dallas oldies station. I can't believe how different I hear the music now than I did back then. What fun it's been to read all about everyone and look at the pictures. My best wishes to everyone!!! |

I have not made any of the previous reunions, I think I was "lost", but now that I am found, I plan on attending this year! I have had a wonderful time going down memory lane with everyone, some I know, and remember, some I did not know. What fun it is going to be getting to know everyone again, I know that we surely have not changed much! My husband (of 24 years) and I live in Comanche, Texas. are doing. I haven't been able to go to any of the reunions but hope that I will this one. My husband and I have been married 20 years (2nd marriage for both) and have a 14 year old son Dustin. I also have 2 step children, Brandi 25 who lives in Germany with husband and granddaughter and Michael 22 who has just completed Marine boot camp and will be leaving for Okinawa in about 10 days. We have moved around quite a bit in our 20 years as my Dalton has been in the oil field industry for the majority of the time. Two years ago we returned to Houston after having lived in England 3 years. We plan to stay in this house and not move again until our son graduates high school. We recently bought a lake house on Lake Conroe and are enjoying it during the summer. I have been a stay at home Mom for the last 14 years but I do community volunteering and travel with my husband as much as possible. I'm pretty sure I will be at the reunion but my husband's trip to Singapore may prevent him from attending. I don't know why they can't just rearrange schedules, etc. to accomodate this reunion! Hope to see you all at OCC. By the way, OCC is where my husband and I got married. Best regards......Debbi Bean Thomas |

He worked for Taylor Publishing Company for 10 years and when he quit there we bought our own printing company 16 years ago. I now work full time in it and have for the past 14 years. The name of our company is Cornerstone Press. I have 2 children, a son who just married 2 weeks ago he is 25, and a daughter who is still at home she is 21. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the reunion, my husband is also the equipment manager and soud technician for a southern gospel quartet. And Janet, if there is anything I can do to help out with any of the work, please let me know. I have quite a bit of free time and would love to do what I can. I have been single for about two years now. Moved to Plano last year and my two daughters, Amy (23) and Marla (19) live with me. They are both in college. Amy took a break to work for a while, but is back in school now and is a cheerleader at UTD. Marla is going to school in Gainesville on a softball scholarship. | Comments: | Had earlier come to the conclusion that we would not be
having a 30th reunion. But, thanks to the select few for giving of their time and energies, we are now looking forward to a wonderful evening of renewed friendships and hopefully re-establishing long lost connections. I have just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary to another Kimball Knight (Mike Fuller), and have 2 beautiful and fantastic kids, both in college. As a anniversary present, we bought a nice new Malibu ski boat, and as luck would have it, accidently re-united with Susan Monzingo and her family on lake Joe Pool! Her son spent time teaching my son to wake board! Such friendships never die, even though time continues to pass. As I reflect on the Memoriam page, I can't help but count my blessings. I have recently taken a job with Agilent Technologies (formally Hewlett-Packard), and now travel extensively. However, nothing would keep me from the reunion of such dear and long lasting friends. If you haven't attended before, don't miss it. You leave with wonderful memories and renewed friendships. It is also nice to be in a room once again where you are no longer "older" than everyone else! |

I hope to make the reunion this year but I was just in the Dallas area helping my sister and brother finish up selling my mothers home so I'm not sure another trip is in the cards this summer. If Priceline.com can come through with one of their special tickets, I'm there. It will be wonderful to see all of your and relive the good ole days. To all of you, good luck in the future. To all we have lost, thoughts and prayers to those they left behind. |

| Comments: | Good work on the website, I was impressed. I can't believe
it has been 30 years since graduation time, it seem like only 29. Not much has changed in my life got out of school went to college for a while, then served in the Marine Corps, and I have had two jobs since then, and been at the one I am at now for almost 23 years. I still live in Oak Cliff and I love being here, it is home to me. Can't wait to meet everybody again, just tell me your name and I hope I remember it. See you there, Jim |

| Comments: | Thanks to everyone for all the great email and
appreciation. Believe me, this is a real thrill for me to be able to do this for our class. My thanks to Janet for all her hard work in helping me to keep the info updated, as well as all the other people on the committee for their hard work. The memories are flooding back to me of things we all used to do together. You know what they say, "if you remember the 60's, you weren't there"....well, I remember....well, part of it anyway *big grin* You guys are still great! I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. |

| Comments: | The Website is PHENOMINAL! Great job, Gayla.
The "Memoriam" section is very sadening. It's hard to realize that we are not immortal. I am sorry to see so many on the list, and SO suprised at some of the names.. thanks again for putting all this together. I hope I can come, but I'm not sure just yet. Take care - you old dogs you! |

| Comments: | This is going to be a great time with each other, to see how
we have all changed and how little for some. With all the things that we have done and all the good times and some of the sad. I hope that as many of you can come and have the great time that we all are planning on for you to have. This class of 1970 site is a wonderful thing that has made all of this happen. |
