hi i am from the other side of the world and have been inspired to take up china painting after viewing your site i already do oil paintings but since i have 3 daughters approching marriage ireally want their homes to be exceptional.you may want to try painting a tea trolley that has been laid with tiles and the tea set so they are sold as awhole i saw this idea on tv and liked it alot ,keep up the good work.

I was looking on the net for interesting web pages on China Painting and came acoss yours. Myself born in Dearborn Michigan and now living in Paris France I took up china painting 3 years ago and love it. Hi, I love your work and you have a very nice website. I have decided to start painting on porcelain--tiles to start and later firing bone china plates. I was amazed to see you were from Lansing, MI. I worked there and lived in East Lansing for 22 years from 1977-1999. My grandparents were British, my parents Canadian, and I have a collection of English Bone China. Love your site--I started china painting several years ago, but stopped when we planned to move, then we built a home, etc. I had to leave both my kilns behind and have never been able to paint anything but something tiny since all I have is a 6" kiln. I did manage to do paint some 4 1/4" tile for one of my showers. Your site is so great because it has links to wonderful sites. Thank you.

been looking for long time i have this plate in french it says in french; le roman de loncle tom a ete lu de tout lunivers which i think its says uncle tom and for all the unirverse spelling messed up its dated 1844 round stamp on back #6 made into the plate pretty picture on front blue and white inside stamp on back says medalle exposition 1844 GLEN Geoffroy etC porcelaine opaque please help or if u could tell me what to look under , i think it could be about uncle toms cabin or something thank you
