We have recently had to place my 90 year old mom in a nursing facility and sometimes when I go see her I sing to her and I would like to know if you have any of the "Sing Me Home" soundtracks still available. | Comments: | I wanted to wish you well, just watched a Gaither video and saw you. Brought back many memories from seeing you, Geraldine and Wendy performing in the seventies, boy how time flies. The Sunlighters performed several times in Florida, along with a group called the Singing Lynns, of which my wife was a member. She had such fond memories of those times and many stories to tell from their travels. She has now gone on to be with the Lord, but we had 28 wonderful years together and we'll see each other again, along with Wendy, Geraldine and many loved ones, when our race is run and we, ouselves, enter those heavenly gates. Glad to hear, you are still active in the ministry, keep up the great work and much love and prayers to you and yours.

| Comments: | My only live concert I was able to see the Sunliters perform was in Greensboro, NC. I don't remember the date, however, I think it the late 70's or early 80's. I have always been touched by Wendy and the Sunliter's singing.
I watched Jan, at the Greensboro concert, stop the song they were singing and under the Spirit of God began to testify and share Jesus with crowd that night. It was touching to witness Jan obeying The Spirit that night asking for the sinner to come forward. For that, Jan you will always be my favorite singer. |

You, Jerri and Wendy were my constant companions during the '80s when I was serving in the U.S. Naval Submarine Service. During the long periods of family separation and the total lack of sunlight for months on end, your music and humor spoke to my soul and gave me much comfort and happiness. I now have the Bill Gaither video's and see you so often singing with the whose who Gospel Singers in the Gaither' selection of his personal choice for the Hall of Fame Gospel Pioneers. You always look so charming and adorable, so profesionally attired and well groomed with that regal look of a sofisticated individual. I'm a retired automotive worker living in Southern Illinois with my family. I still have the original Canaan/Word records from the seventies. I catch you occasionally on U-tube. It was so good to see your website. You, Wendy & Gerri came to Manchester, Ky years ago to be grand marshalls for our Halleluia parade and to perform that night at the Halleluia. My husband, Tess, and I were your hosts. I remember how we had thought you would be riding on a convertible, but you ended up on a wagon, pulled by mules. Then we went to a little place calle Papa Joe's for lunch. I remember you holding a friend's baby and singing, and watching the fireworks while you and Gerri held on to me so your high heels wouldn't sink in the mud. Those are great memories. |

Debbie and I just finished reading the Singing News article about you both and your minitry -- Wonderful article about a wonderful couple ! What a greast interview and simply wonderful , inspiring article! Wish we could see you all .... came to NQC one night but missed seeing you at your booth there. It's great to hear that you all are doing so well with the ministry , yet are able to "cut back" and go at a little slower pace than in previous years.... I was loking through your 2009 concert/appearance schedule...looks like most are in southern US until later in the year ..... Noticed that you all do plan to be at NQC again this year (of course !) September 14-19, 2009 .....do you have any plans immediately following NQC (i.e. Sunday Septemebr 20th, 2009) . except to head back home? Here's why I am asking.... Jackson Grove Baptist Church --where I still attend and where you have sung several times over the years, Jan--is having our 125-Year Homecoming in September. We haven't "formally finalized" the dates (weekend) yet, but if there were ANY WAY you all could work it out to come to Jackson Grove on September 20th...that will be our Homecoming Weekend ! As soon as your time and schedule permits, pelase discuss this and see whether it would be workable for you all (and Beckie Simmons/BSA)...let me know what monies you would need for that Sunday (am hoping we can keep this required monies to a small amount, since we are still a small church with a small budget) .... We'll be praying about this and hoping that all will work out satisfactorily for you all to come to Jackson Grove in September, and hopefuly, we can see/be with you all somewhere between now and then .... | Comments: | I saw Wendy Bagwell and the Sunliters a couple of times as a child (late 70's) and remember not just how funny the show was but the huge talent in the group. One of my best friends was Ronnie (Nancy) Williams. I remember a song about "rockabye baby in the tree tops, when the wind blows the cradle will rock, Rock my child in my arms..." but can not remember the name of the song, but it touched me and the chorus remains 'in my head' to this day. I have a small collection of the songs from Napster but would love to hear the 'rochaby" song again. God Bless! |

I used to work with Rita at the Dept of Agriculture.I saw your photo with Brother Jerry last summer at the Gospel Music Hall of Fame at Dollywood! Then I knew where you were. I have such great memories of you singing with Jerri and Mr. Bagwell. I even bought a CD at Dollywood because I have mostly cassettes. My son Spencer who you knew as a little boy will graduate from high school May 31. I remember sitting at the funeral home when Mr. Bagwell died and you introducing me to somebody as a fan of the group, but a "particular fan" of yours! And that is right. God bless you. You look as beautiful as ever and I am so glad you still have a song in your heart and that you are sharing the beautiful voice that has been with me on the CD player down so many roads! Wow, what a trip to the Holy Land. There was just so to take in. I find myself saying, Was I really there? Do I really see the Garden Tomb? It was truly the trip of a life time. I just purchased 2 of the Wendy Bagwell & Sunliters LPs and a photo an Ebay seller is selling for you. I was Sooo happy to find this material. I have loved you guys it seems forever. One of the very 1st Gospel LPs that I purchases was Wendy Bagwell & the Sunliters on Scripture label. A day or two right? I have asked this seller to see if you would so kindly Autograph these 3 items for me as it would mean so much. I used to see the group at the Will Rogers Auditorium in Ft Worth, Texas when W. B. Nalon was Promoting Gosdpel singings. What fond memories. I'll never forget the night I first heard Wendy do "The Rattlesnake Story". Enough said.
