I too, am one of the many who have chosen to sign this Book of Remembrance without ever having had the honour of meeting Doreen in person, that in itself speaks volumes about the importance of this lady in all of our lives. I feel strongly & draw comfort though that those 'strangers' of us here who truly strive to live by The Creed & have 'absorbed' her words rather than simply having 'read' them, then although she may never have physically touched our hands, she certainly touched our hearts. So when I finally "be free from slavery" and "shall dance, sing, and feast" I pray to the Goddess I will finally be privileged to greet & thank Doreen for the treasures she bestowed upon us. |
