Hi everyone. I think this is the coolest coaster site ever.
I want ti thank Julie for making this one of the best sites around. I would like to make a correction on the old entry
that was created by Brian on June 3 2002. In fact I would
like to make a couple corrections to his entry. The first
on is the most important, Six Flags did NOT create the first
Inverted U impulse coaster, a park in Japan did and it is called Liner gale. It is a different ride from what ours is,
It doesn't feature the average corkscrew twist at the top
of the first spike- Both spikes feature straight paths. This
is kind of like the popular Wicked Twister (which does not
couse earbleeds by the way). The next correction I will make is that Cedar Point is as great as you might think.
The staff is friendler than you will ever see at any
Six Flags Park. Also the park is greatly Landscaped and the litter is at a minium. The park also has an outstanding safety record. As far as I know nobody has ever died at the
park. And besides, if Cedar Point isn't That good then why
has It won the Golden Ticket Award for best Amusement Park?
It didn't Just win it once, Cedar Point has been voted the best park for 9 years in a row. And now I will correct what he said about Millennium Force. It is an awsome coaster!!
I will admit the airtime was low but It has much more great
features. It stands 310 feet high and It will reach speeds
up to 93 mph!! If that wasn't enough the first drop is an
outstanding angle of 80 degrees. I went to SFMM I thought
Goliath was going to be great like MF but It was the biggest dissipointment ever!!! The drop was Exciting but
It didn't do anything for me after that. Anyway
Millennium Force has been voted the best coaster numerus
times since It opened in 2000. Also, If you are still unsure
about the greatness of cedar point, Consider the Following
It has the most coasters, The most rides and 4 of the coasters at CP are on the top 15 list in 2006.

I am 13 years old and I have

first I am going to have to
break your heart. This is the
story of when I went to The
Michigans Adventure. I had
heard how great Shivering Timbers
was and I was so excited to
ride the monster. I said I would ride
it. No ands ifs or buts. At the time
I had no Idea we were going to the park-
my mother had told me we were going
to Grand Rapids to visit her friend
who lives down there. She told my bro
and me to pack swim suits because
the hotel had a pool. As we were driving I
saw a giant sign that said Michigans
Adventure. I screamed with excitement
and as doon as I did my mother new I
knew were we were Really going. As we
appoched the park I saw the gigantic structure
SHIVERING TIMBERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew I had to ride It. We rode Falling Star
and Chaos. We were then supposed to ride S.T.
but we rode Wolverine Wildcat instead. It was my
very first coaster. Yay for me! But I was to excited to realize that. I wanted to rive the big boy!
We got and line and as soon as we did...BOOM!
the ride breaks down. It remained VBroken the rest
of the day. I almost cried.Waaaah! Oh well. I rode corkscrew and loved it! Look Below for MY track record.

Hi. I am a big fan of this website. In fact it is my 3rd favoate wbsite. It is my favorate coaster site though. I just wanna inform you a couple things. 1. This is the smallest coaster site I have seen.It is definatly the bet because your pictures are quality not rushed! 2. you might already know this but Chaos at Michigans Adventure has callapsed and no longer remains at the park. Hey Julie! I am a big fan of your website and I am so amazed that another person is ubsesed with coasters just like I am. I thought I was the only person in the world that loved coasters. Anyway I am turning thirteen this month which happens to be November an that makes it my 6th year of riding coasters. For the record my first coaster was Wolverine Wildcat at Michigan's Adventure when I was 7. But the reason I am writing this is because I want you to go back to Cedar Point. You don't even have pictures of Top Thrill Dragster the second tallest second fastest coaster in the universe. An they upgraded to so many other new rides to such as Skyhawk and maXair.(yes thats how you spell maXair). In the 2007 season they will have a new coaster called Maverick which will be awsome. It will be their 17th coaster making them the park with the most coasters which should matter to anybony who cares about coasters. Maverick will only be 105 feet tall but it goes down its hill at a 95 degree angle which if you don't know how steep that is you must go to the park and find out. In addition Maverick will blast you through its tunnle at 70mph which I hope you know how fast that is. It will also go through 3 inversions or loops and the ride is two minutes and fifty seconds. the first day I knew about your website i read every thing and i mean every thing i looked at all the pictures. I found out about the site on yahoo,and this is what made me look. one day my dad and I where sitting in the car and I started talking about something and he said "o like the ride that used to be in great America. I had no idea what he was talking about. So when We came home he looked on the computer he found out the name "sky whirl." so i looked and i found this wed site. it made my so sad about the ride;( I started to remember the ride i rode when i was 4,5,6. SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS ROCKS, i live near it in Arlington, Texas. I go there any chance i get. The Titan roller coaster is awesome, it goes 85 mph, and its 245 feet high. We just got a new ride called Superman:Tower of Power, it shoots up at 60 mph. This site has goos pictures too, but not of the Titan. |

You have a great web site! Out and Back Woodies are my favorite coasters too. My "home park" is Magic Springs a small but growing theme park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It has five roller coasters and a few other great rides; The Arkansas Twister is a great out and back woodie. Another great classic one is in Wichita KS, at Joyland Park. Don't schedule a vacation for this tiny park, but if you ever go through Wichita, this classic 1949 coaster is worth stopping for. It's alot like the Judge Roy Scream, but is a bit wilder. |

Here in the Netherlands, you don't have such great Rollercoaster-sites!
My favorite coaster is called "Vogelrok". It was the first inside-coaster of the Netherlands. I really enjoy that ride, because everybody gets sick in it, exept me!!!

I Love rollar coasters but Nitro and milliennium force are my fovarite coasters because they are fast high and scary but in a fun way will Nitro is like 230 feet and milliennium force is 310 feet I went om Nitro once on my b-day it was the best ride I was scream but I had so much fun. and they milliennium force is maybe in ohio I was on it to that rollar coaster was high and scary but I love that feeling I thimk is the best feeling in the world I hope I will go on those coasters again.

Hey everyone, I just happened to stumble onto this pager and felt the need to throw in my two cents. Isnlands of Adventure is perhaps one of the greatest theme parks in the world today. Sure they don't have the same number of rides, or the lineup that Cedar Point does, but Islands of Adventure is all about quality thrills, not quantity. I have been to Cedar Point every year of my life sense I was 10 years old, and I'm turning 21 in 7 days, so thats 10 years of coaster thrills. In all honesty though Cedar Point isn't really as great as you would think. Its enjoyable for a day, but the endless waiting in lines for a 2 minute coaster thrill is ridiculous. Okay, I will admit Millenium Force is up there with my favorite coasters of all time, but the biggest complaint you hear from people is where is the airtime? Asside from that first drop there isn't much ejector air at all like you would find on the Magnum XL 200. Millenium Force is all about speed, which I love, but heck, I need something more than just speed if I'm going to wait in line for 3 hours. Try Six Flags Worlds of Adventure in Aurora and Bainbridge OH, 2 hours and 30 minutes from Sandusky. The park was originally two seperate parks known as Geauga Lake, and Sea World Aurora. In 2000 Six Flags bought out geauga lake and renamed the park Six Flags OH, adding 4 brand new and innovative coasters. Ever wonder where Cedar point got the idea for their 2002 coaster Wicked Twister? Thats right folks Six Flags built the first U shaped LIM launched impulse coaster, only they don't have the extra spiral spike you see at Cedar Point (lots of complaints about ear bleeds on Wicked Twister) Six Flags also bought out Sea World in 2001 and added a new coaster to the mix making the park 750 acres and boasting three different worlds. As if this wasn't enough, the park has just recently received approval for a new hypercoaster in 2003, which as of yet has remained unnamed.
Don't get me worng, if IOA was in Cleveland, I'm be singing its praises, but out of the two parks that are near me that I call my homes away from home, Six Flags Worlds of Adventure wins the coin toss...but not by much. ...Did I mention the park has their own killer whale, dolphins, penguins, and petable batrays?
