| Thoughts and Comments: | I graduated from Baylor University in 1985 with a BS in Geology. I graduated at the bottom of the class. I've always felt guilty about that fact. After all, I made it easier for all those above me to appear as if they are smarter than they really are! I don't feel too bad now, I graduated with a MS in Physical Science (Environmental Geology),1993, from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I could not find a suitable job after graduation, they just would not let me start at the top of the corportion and work my way down the ladder. I eventually went to work for TDCJ as a correctional officer, which was a big mistake. Now (May 19, 2009) I am an unemployed Geologist during the last 15 months. I did not want to work at a prison any more so I terminated myself and started looking for an elusive geology job. I don't have the experience to get a job so that I can have the experience to get another job. The bottom line is there is not much out there for 50 year old men that change jobs every two or three years. Minumum wage jobs just don't get it for this old boy. |

| Thoughts and Comments: | I was touring mostly the north and south coastlines of Jamaica last month. My wife & I were looking for a villa to celebrate the millenium with four other couples. The only reefs which had any appeal were those in Discovery Bay. I couldn't believe the changes in reefs which I had swam on not that many years ago. shame on us! I enjoyed reading your abstract and it seems to confirm my novice opinion. In any event, We selected Sea Grape Villa lo!cated on the NE tip of Discovery Bay. | Thoughts and Comments: | Hi Susie, your dad and I have become friends through the internet by way of the eBay auctions on Old Spice mugs. We met through the courtesy of our other net friend Creighton. (he has the fabulous webpages on Old Spice.) Tom and I seem to have lots incommon. This past weekend my daughter Robin came from North Carolina for a visit. She and I toured Jamaica and Belieze with you. Your pages are really great and most interesting. I surely enjoyed the "trip" having been enjoying a hobby of photography for over 50 years. Tom and I are becoming quite the Old Spice mug collectors. We seem to have most of the ones from this country. I now have 5 made in other countries,as well. My wife and I are retired, myself by age, she by disability. Between us we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. We collect lots of things to be fowarded on to the children in time. Tis great to see you working on another degree, good for you. Just wanted to let you know that when I visited Ohio a couple weeks' ago (My husband Dana and I live in Hendersonville, NC) and spent some time with my dad, that we really enjoyed your webpage!!!!!! Some of my family went in together and got dad his computer several months ago - he is hell on wheels now, ha ha!!! Sounds like your dad is enjoying the dickens out of his computer also!
