Recipe Name : Ranch Oyster Crackers
About my Recipe: Friend
Ingredients:12-16 oz Oyster Crackers
1 TBSP dill weed (more if desired)
1/2-3/4 cup cooking oil (any type desired)
1 envelope Original Ranch Dressing Mix
Method::Spread oyster crackers out in 13x9 baking pan.

Mix oil (I've also used 1/2 oil and 1/2 melted butter), dill weed, and dressing mix together. Pour over crackers. Let crackers sit, in warm place, stir every 10 minutes or so. Crackers are ready to eat after about 1-1/2 hours. (I actually think they are better when they are allowed to absorb the mixture for several hours.) Store in an airtight container. Be careful, though. These are very addictive. :)

1 bottle certo, sure-jell or pectin

add food coloring to desired color
skim foam and pour into sterilzed jelly jars
seal jars and turn upside down (if you prefer you can do a hot water processing bath but the jars will seal from the heat of the liquid if you turn them upside down)

(Had to add this one so that if you don't have pepper jelly available in your area you could make your own...Kathy has been my best friend since we were in 7th grade...won't elaborate on the number of years that has been...lol)
