| Comments: | What I get a kick out of is Evan Todd's father's respect life license plate. I guess we all forgot what his Evan Todd said: "Columbine is a clean, good place except for those rejects. Most kids didn't want them there.
They were into witchcraft. They were into voodoo dolls. Sure, we teased them. But what do you expect with kids who come to school with weird hairdos and horns on their hats? It's not just jocks; the whole school's disgusted with them. They're a bunch of homos, grabbing each other's private parts. If you want to get rid of someone, usually you tease them. So the whole school would call them homos, and when they did something sick, we'd tell them, 'You're sick and that's wrong.' " - Evan Todd (255 lb defensive lineman), TIME, DEC 20, 1999. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,992873-12,00.html I guess we kind of forgot that one while we went on to praise the shiney new "Respect Life" license plates. Talk about not being worth the paint never mind metal it is stamped onto. |

| Comments: | D. MacDonald, Kip Kinkel and Eric Harris both shared something in common.
http://www.slate.com/id/2099203 [Eric] Harris' pattern of grandiosity, glibness, contempt, lack of empathy, and superiority read like the bullet points on Hare's Psychopathy Checklist and convinced Fuselier and the other leading psychiatrists close to the case that [Eric] Harris was a psychopath. Kip wasn't the only person who lacked treatment. But then again, even that article on the columbine massacre says, that Eric Harris if he hasn't done what he did would have ended up becoming a bigger menace in society. More than likely a serial killer. Dave Cullen the author of the Article is coming out with a book about this sometime later this year. I don't agree with all his assessments but he did have some good points |

| Comments: | David A. MacDonald of Toronto, Canada has got it all wrong (see his comments above or below). He says " "The Shooting Game" by Joseph Lieberman is no longer available at Amazon.com and hasn't been for several months." Idiot! The book was popular it is going into another printing. Sometimes Amazon gets sold out, but they soon have more. It is the BEST book on school shooting EVER!
The bigger problem is that MacDonald seems to be in love with killer Kip Kinkel. I mean, really, does he seriously believe “Kip Kinkel is a good person who is kind and thoughtful and who would never have committed the acts of May 20 and 21, 1998 had he not been profoundly mentally ill.” Sure he was insane to a degree, but Kip had a history of violence going back to kindergarten. Lots of people are bipolar but they dont shoot their parents and kids at school. Kip was just an animal. He wrote in his diary: “I am so full of rage that I feel I could snap at any moment. I think about it every day. Blowing the school up or just taking the easy way out, and walk into a pep assembly with guns. In either case, people that are breathing... will stop breathing. That is how I will repay all you mother-f-rs for all you put me through.” Kind and thoughtful? Surely only his sister still clings to that illusion. David, you are sick, sick, sick. |

| Comments: | Thank you for letting me visit this website. I enjoyed every part of this site. I hope that you do not mind but I scanned a copy of the "13 angels" poem. I am also a senior and I fear that some dumb kid is going to turn my school into a tragedy. I do not want my family to tune in to see a another school shooting. I know that some kids at my school are lying and will not show their fear but, they too are scared and want to act strong around their friends. I personally think that every kid at my school could be an enemy. I also believe in Jesus and someone asked me, I too would say "yes." I pray that no more students will have to fear what Columbine had. |

| Comments: | In the shooting at Lindhurst High, I was working in the ambulance that took Sergio Martinez to the hospital. He had his arm blown off by a shotgun. I do not know what happened to him. And also the boy who got shot in the head was a friend of my son,(whom I took out of that school 3 months earlier) The boy who got shot in the head was a cartoonist and was real smart. what happened to him.I know these people lived but I have not heard from them. |

| Comments: | i think that this site is a wonderful idea and being that the virgina tech massacre was considered the columbine of virgina and college i think that its a very sad thing in this world that people have to shoot and kill just to get their point across that they are differnt and they are apart of this world and how they can be who they want to be. because of the bullying and teasing across the world innocent kids are dying for no liget reason.

| Comments: | Lindhurst High School - May 1st 1992. This day changed my life forever. I like to think I have made postives out of this event but I wish it had never happened. To this day it still has a profound effect on me. I said goodbye to Mr. Brens minutes before the shooting and his face is forever burned in my mind and my dreams. No kid should ever have to deal with this kind of tragedy. You never leave my mind: Mr. Brens; Jason; Judy; and, Beaman. |

| Comments: | Sorry, I've been a victim of Richardson Police Idleness, I guess. As the only person driving on Yale Blvd., they tagged me for 40 in a 30mph zone, asked my neighbor at 1801 Vassar if I was crazy, threatedned to taser me and my 91 y.o. mother, who was riding with me, for whom I care and seriously alarmed my 14yo shih'tzu, Chili Pepper. If I had extra money I would contribute the $150. they are ticketing me for, but I don't, and my mother says she hopes jail grub is good as she knows I did nothing wrong and plans to accompany me to jail. Chili Pepper of course cannot speak, but she will also be in the cell.

| Comments: | I have been compiling files on shooters since 1996...When I came across your site I realised how many I have missed. Your statistical summary at the end just overwhelms me.
Thanks for all your hard work. I understand how difficlt it is to deal with the stories.I periodically swear off the work! My focus has been on locating writing done by shooters prior to the events searching for "paralinguistic" markers of shame. Thanks again! |

| Comments: | May God bless all the victims and their familes. I am from Fayetteville, Tennessee where the 1998 shooting of Nick Creson happened. I worked for the newspaper, and I can tell you it ripped people's hearts out. It was a sad and senseless act of jealously. Two very young guys with their lives taken away, one by death, the other by life in prison. My heart goes out to ALL the victims and their families. We need to do somthing to stop all this violence. Always remember, they are ALL "Angels" among us. |

| Comments: | when you're being picked on, and no one isn't really interested, you have to push back. idiot people with superiority complexes don't realize their actions, and their own stupidity, if they don't get proper feedback. killing is wrong, at lets these douchebags off too easy - there's no afterlife whatsoever so it's better to get them repent for the rest of their lives. long torturing, invalidizing... watching as the "alpha-males" start crying and piss their pants in pain... then asking them if they feel superior anymore... that's how they'll learn, and never pick on others again, or think they're somehow superior. less people will be walking with their heads filled with piss. |

| Comments: | I am a Senior at the University of Texas of th Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas. I visited your website to help with research for a paper I am doing on school violence. I was absolutely amamzed that the problem of school violence reached so far back in time. I was truly impressed with what I have read. I hope that one day we will all be able to heal and put these tragedies behind us. We don't always understand why God allows things like this to happen, but I do know that He is in total control. Until the changes can be made and we can better prevent the problem, I will never forget and I will always remember. God bless you. |

| Comments: | I went to Langham Creek High School. I did not enter until a year later after the school shooting. I had just moved to the area. We lived right behind the school. I always worried that something would happen like that while I was there. Fortunately nothing happened but I can tell you everyone was always on their toes. The school never again took anything for granted. Thank you for all your work you have done in collecting this information. I never knew that so many shootings happened. The news never reported them, I guess because no one wanted us to worry about this. |

| Comments: | Hi, Just a correction to your article titled "Ian Bazalgette Junior High School, Calgary, Alberta, Canada". Mr. Hilford was NOT arrested by "The Mounties". The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is used in areas, mostly rural, that do not have their own police force. In this case, the arrest was by the Calgary Police Service.

| Comments: | I have been studying your work beginning in the later part of last year. I e-mailed you to continue to do this work. I know it is stressful and depressing, but it needs to be documented. It is time that we citizens must appeal to the policy makers on the changes we want to see in our schools K-12 and colleges alike. Like you, I have researched some of the school shootings (the major ones), trying to identify solutions (outside of the metal detectors, police on campus, mandatory counseling, the Clery Act, and a peace studies curriculum). A solution is possible, we just need to find it. |

| Comments: | thank you for your hard word and tireless efforts to help end this violence. I was both a friend of Jason White ( god rest his soul) and I am still friends with Wayne Boggess (whom I have lost contact with, sadly) and I know it is a difficult subject to deal with, the death of those so young.
Thank you for the others, as well. I didn't know anyone at Columbine, by God my heart still hurst for them and any one who was at any of the schools that were attacked. I say thank you for those who cannot, and for those who are, to this day, still too grief stricken to say thanks. I too, still long to hear the voice of my friend; Jason was a real character and I miss talking to him as our brothers would play together. (his younger brother, Jeremy Stickle, and I still communicate often since he and my brother, Scott, have been friends since the 3rd grade.) But that won't happen. I face that when I think about Jason, Beamon, Judy and Walter. I didn't know the latter 3 personally but I know four promising futures were put out and many more were marred forever. (nine others I believe were wounded. I may not remember that count correctly however.) Thank you, for being a balm for an injured soul. If you wish to contact me, I would be more than happy to help clarify the information on your pages for Lindhurst because there is still more to be told, and until we do stopping such senseless acts of brutality will be difficult; truth and awareness are our greatest allies in the war to stop school violence. my email is eddie_maiden4842268210@yahoo.com and I hope to hear from the owner of the site so that this, and all, the stories can be told fully.
