I found alot of information yes, but nothing that would help me to explain why we have a Rememberance day to a 5 year old child. That's when I thought of you, although my family is in Calgary my husband Dean is still a member, I figured who better to ask for help then those who lived it! Please help we take our daughter to the local legion every year for the ceremony, ahe has never inquired as to why but I am sure that she will this year, as she is already asking what is Rememberance Day? A question I would love to answer myself rather than wait for the school to try and explain it. Aside from helping me out, maybe this will inspire you to have a place on your site where children can learn to remember and ask questions of their parents, so the parents of my generation can remember to teach lest we forget.
