The programs that you have set up are so well-operated and it is very clear how much you care about those that participate. The smiles on people's faces when they meet Prince, Fidget, Bartoya, Rosie or Gidget are proof that you are touching lives. Every time I hear from you there's another program in the works, because your values of love and acceptance push you to include everyone and find a way to enrich their lives through your work. | Comments: | There is something indescribable about the connection people have with animals and for those in our society who no longer have access to them (like institutionalized seniors,) M & M Lucky Hooves provides seniors with the opportunity to reconnect on that special level. In the case of my own Grandmother afflicted with Alzheimer's who has many poor days and may not always know who I am, when she saw the miniature horses brought to her nursing home by Mary Gallant she was all smiles, reaching her hands out to touch them and talking to them. It's moments like these that must make it so rewarding for Mary, to see her animals make a difference, one person's life at a time. Thank you Mary! |
