When giving a lift to someone that you dont know very well, keep the windshield wipers running to "work them in." 7. Practise making fax and modem noises. 8. Reply to everything someone says by saying "Is that soooo, mmm" and go glass eyed on them. 9. Highlight irrelevant material in scientific papers and cc them to your boss. 10. Dissassemble your pen and accidentally flip the cartridge across the room. 13. Holler random nubers while someone is counting. 14. Adjust the tint on the screen to green and insist to others that you like it better that way. 15. Staple papers in the middle of the page. 16. Publicly investigate just how slowly you can make a honking noise. 17. Type only in lower case on inportant memos, without punctuation 18. Steal all the orange road cones you can, and clock off all the parking spaces. 19. Skip rather than walk, and smile feverently at strangers. 20. Try to play the William Tell Overture (The Lone Ranger) by tapping on your chin, and when nearly done, announce "No, wait, I messed up" and repeat. 21. Ask people what gender they are. Bob your head like a parakeet. 22. Stomp on about 60 of those little plastic ketchup packets one after another. 23. Ask your friends mysterious questions, scribbling all the while in a notebook, and mutter something like "Well thats what you think." 24. Tell friends about 4 days prior that you cant attend their party becaus you are not in the mood. |

machine" skit depicting the university experience made me smile. I remember an adviser at my college telling a student, "Son, you're not here at MU to learn; you're here to play the game by our rules." It's no wonder people view college as a robotic assembly line. As for influential music, an instructor at my college composed a piece titled, "Three Binghams." Each movement corresponded to a Bingham painting.
