We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your lovely suite--beautiful view! There was a lot of great x-c skiing that we did, and excellent weather as well. We discovered more about this area of BC and definitely want to return to it. It was nice to bring our dog on vacation where she could feel as "at home" as we did. We loved our stay here at 'A Bit of Country'. The suite was very comfortable and we enjoyed not having to eat meals in restaurants everyday. We especially liked visiting the animals here. The dogs were very sweet and Romeo, the donkey , was extremely friendly. We will absolutely come back to stay here if we ever visit the okanagan again. Thank you for everything! |

After a long drive from Cochrane, AB, through the most beautiful mountain scenery, we reached Vernon hot an weary to find a paradise awaiting us at the top of the steep hill. What bliss it was to sit outside sourrounded by trees in full spring, the air perfumed by lilac and apple blossom, watching the birds and listening to their songs. We so appreciated the kindness of you both and taking time off to show us the sheep and lambs--and the dogs. I do miss the country living.
