Comments:Crochet (pronounced /kroʊˈʃeɪ/) is a process of creating fabric from yarn or thread using a crochet hook. The word is derived from the Middle French word croc or croche, meaning hook. Crocheting, similar to knitting, consists of pulling loops of yarn through other loops. Crochet differs from knitting in that only one loop is active at one time (the sole exception being Tunisian crochet), and that a crochet hook is used instead of knitting needles.

I know that you printed the way to put squares together that doesn't leave the squares looking awful.
It was when you get finished, you drop the yarn and I forget what else.
I have looked and looked and can't find it anywhere.

Thanks and God Bless you and yours

Comments:Thank you for your patterns. We have a crochet group associated with our church sewing ministry. We are currently making booties for Buckner's International's "Shoes for Souls" This is a new project from Buckner's. Our first donation was 40 pair of booties for an orphanage in the Honduras. Our most recent goal is 100 booties. Your patterns have helped me tremendously. I would like to have permission to share your patterns with our ladies. Many of them do not have computers so it would be very helpful if I could share.

Thank you so much for your ministry.

Comments:Lisa, crochet'n'more is my favorite crochet site. I have tried a lot of your patterns. Most recently is your pattern for a scissor holder. I can't imagine not having one now. I even made one for my husband. He is always working on projects that require scissors. Since he uses an exacto knife as much as the scissors, I sc; a rectangle about 6 stitches wide and the length of the scissors blades. Then I single crocheted it to the front of scissor holder (in the front of the "blade" section.)Now he carries the exacto knife and scissors together.

Comments:Hi - I just joined your site and love it already. Thanks so much for being there to help with some difficult questions.

I'm hoping someone can remember this pattern from the past. I tried looking online but didn't find anything. Since I don't know the name of the item I'll just try to describe it. It is a pot holder or a hot pad and it's crocheted on the diagonal and it has only one closing seam and the closing seam is not on an edge. If anyone can point me in a direction I would love it.
Thanks so much

Comments:Hi Lisa, Have been a regular subscriber to your site for a good while now and I need a little help.
How do you embroider something over a finished crocheted item? I havent seen any tutorials showing how to do this and have a crocheted hat for my grandson who wants his favorite football team letter put on it. Help. I made a crocheted length as the letter is an "N" but dont know how to sew it on either. Would like to embroider it on rather than sew the chained one on.
Appreciate any help in doing this.
Also your patterns are all just great.
