I'm hoping someone can remember this pattern from the past. I tried looking online but didn't find anything. Since I don't know the name of the item I'll just try to describe it. It is a pot holder or a hot pad and it's crocheted on the diagonal and it has only one closing seam and the closing seam is not on an edge. If anyone can point me in a direction I would love it. How do you embroider something over a finished crocheted item? I havent seen any tutorials showing how to do this and have a crocheted hat for my grandson who wants his favorite football team letter put on it. Help. I made a crocheted length as the letter is an "N" but dont know how to sew it on either. Would like to embroider it on rather than sew the chained one on. Appreciate any help in doing this.
