Recently I was at the Greenville, SC dog show and got to meet and chat with Ms. Sandra Goose Allen, and we had a discussion about Chows in that she will be judging them at the Colorado Dog Show. . . very lovely lady. She also asked that my sister and myself keep in touch with her. At the show there was only one Chow; but to me it didn't represent the breed well at all. | Comments: | I was looking for a male puppy,and I receved a call from Bart Means he told me about Janet Burke at Cross B Chows I call her and we talk on the phone for a few months she told me she had done some breeding and when they would be due. We got togather at Tulsa Oklahoma at the November shows and we seen some of her dogs we talk a while then left.
When my husband and I returned from Kent,Washington the end of Nov. I call Janet and we set up a time to go up to Kansas and see the puppys, on Dec. 2nd 1992 we had a chance to see all of her kennel and the Sire and Dam of the Boy I was to fall in love with at frist site I already had him name KAI I ask Janet if I could use his Sir's name in with Kai's and she help me name him so as you know he was named Cross B's Kai O-Sama of Tory. Soon after that he became another Tory Champion.Janet and I have been very close and dear friends ever sence, she has taught me so much though the years there is not enough words to ever thank her for everthing she has done for me.Thank you Janet for letting me have such a very special boy like Kai. |
