I am 28yrs old and been invovled in witchcraft since about the age of 13 or younger.it has been taught to my family for generations. only my mothers generation had bad experiences so she preferred to give it up, and only taught us that it was real and the basics. so most of what I know is self taught. I am not a witch that does harm to anyone, or so I try not to, for fear of the paybacks. my question is I came upon a group that has cursed me many times and the things said in the letters have indeed came true. they use very powerful ancient powers, how do I fight something so strong? the last threat was made upon my family members I fear it could be one of my children, which I have 2 young boys. I want to start out by telling you how I came to your site. Just incase you go back and look to see how I came here like in ramblings: KIDS THESE DAYS 06/22/02. I post regularly on a forum for x-jehovah's witnesses. http://www.jwforum.com/ The day I found your site, I was looking for a picture of a woman with little boobs. Because a thead was started about real boobs vs fake boobs, and one of the posters said he prefered women with small boobs. Sooooo........I typed in the google image search engine, "little boobs" and found your picture of you with the photo shop boobs....... which lead me to: ABOUT ME THE NON-WICCAN WITCH OF THE EAST. I then spent the next two days reading,................... not continously...lol . I've browsed through over half of the pages, haven't gotten to the message board yet. I love reading your ramblings, and I "right clicked, copied and saved" some of your spells that especially caught my eye.........Just like your talked about in LIFE AND WITCHCRAFT ADVICE. ....lol I have always been drawn to magic and witches. But, I didn't feel like I fit in as Wiccan (or any other religion for that matter). The rules thing really bothers me. I feel it should be more free flowing and natural feeling. I was raised as a JW, and left 18+ years ago, I've studied different religions over the years since leaving, and feel better doing it my own way. Yet, learning from others of all religions and non religions. I practice magic at home. Make up my own rules, write my own spells. Only a handful of people know. My husband, children, grandchilden, and a few close friends. A couple of them also practicing witches. I don't follow a certain path, if pinned down to say what I am, I would have to say at this time, an eclectic witch. You wrote "Synchronicity will lead you in the right direction if you believe in it and notice it when it happens. I also rely heavily on my spirit guide and spirit group to help me." I have been going over your spells and could use a little guidance as to what spell would be the "best" to fix my situation. You have so mnay wonderful spells that as I as reading some of them, i felt quite peaceful and after the months i have been dealing with..i must say it was nice! Im basically on a fast track to ripping my hair out of my head due to the massive string of bad luck i have been having...losing my job which i LOVED in oct 2005 to animal emergencies, car emergencies and now my daughter's accident which we will have to pay to fix since she is a minor. I'm not too sure which spell would be the best and im a little leary of doing all the ones that seem like it would "break the bad ju-ju chain" that is around me. At the start of the spell... I also just recently found out I have a power XD! The power is the triple other witchs power by 3! I got this spell/ability from a dream I was visited by a little boy who told me! And I tried this on my friend (I needed practise) and she was able to Do a ritual and a weather spell all alone! in the same day! Now thats power! I searched for a site like yours because no matter how hard I've tried to fight the urge to be superstitious, I can no longer deny that the hubby and I are somehow attracting bad luck. It seems like Murphy's Law is on an infinite loop with us. I enjoyed searching through your list of spells because I've found quite a few that I wouldn't mind giving a shot. However, the closest one I could find that would help sort out our issues was the knot spell. Could I tap into your expertise and ask if that spell would be appropriate? And if so, what color of yarn should I use for general over all bad luck? (Rainbow yarn? LOL!) We're not greedy. We just want a normal, Non-Truman Show life. :oP Thanks so much for your help. I'm a bit confused about www.whywiccanssuck.com, it does seem harmful, but I though it would hurt, but it didn't. Just been looking at your site. You really make a lot of sense! I met this guy who's been a Pagan for years. He thinks I'm ready for initiation. I've been interested in Witchcraft, new age and Buddhism for years n years but thats about it. I've never taken anything up. Religion isn't a hobby is it? He told me that the Goddess had apeared to him and was ready to accept me but I'd have to take a "test" first. What she supposedly wants isn't something I'd usually do (I have my morals) and it's likely to be seen as offensive if I describe what it is on your nice website. I think this test is a load of cr*p, I don't like the idea of taking a so-called test and the way I see it is that she (goddess) can tell me to do it herself if she wants to. I don't need this almost fanatical guy to tell me how to be a witch. I don't know if I'm doing the right thing but right now I'm not sure if I want this initiation now. He wants to be my guide and perform the ritual himself. I'm not gonna get nude in front of him!! I don't know if I'm Pagan or Wiccan and I don't know if I want to be. I respect the planet, it's dwellers and life itself but maybe I'd be better off looking at Buddhism. It feels like I'm "shopping" for a religion. Maybe I should forget the whole religion thing, ignore the rules, get on with living a good life and hope for a nice reincarnation or afterlife. I'll respect the gods/goddesses but I'm not into the worship, following rules etc. I just can't obey orders you see. I just want to be me. Sorry to bore you to death but basically you've given me a lot to think about so thanks very much! |
