I'm the president of a small humane society in the upper peninsula of Michigan called the Peninsula Animal Welfare Society, Inc. (PAWS). We operate very much the same with a few exceptions. Helping homeless and abused animals is a never ending job. I know only too well, the long thankless hours and dedication that goes into this very important work. We have an all volunteer agency, we pay to work, but it's well worth it when you eventually find good, loving homes for th animals in your care. Thank you for being there for them! |
